Claims (8)
- 기판 상에 서로 교차하는 다수의 게이트 및 데이터 배선과, Vdd 전압을 전달하는 파워 배선과;상기 다수의 게이트 및 데이터 배선과 연결되는 제 1 스위칭 박막트랜지스터와, 상기 제 1 스위칭 박막트랜지스터와 상기 파워 배선과 연결되는 제 1 드라이빙 박막트랜지스터와, 상기 제 1 드라이빙 박막트랜지스터와 연결되는 발광 다이오드를 갖는 화소와;상기 다수의 데이터 배선에 각각 연결되고, 상기 다수의 데이터 배선에 데이터 전압을 인가하기 위해 입력되는 입력 전류와 프리 차지 전압을 스위칭하는 다수의 스위칭부를 포함하고,상기 다수의 스위칭부는 공통으로 인가되는 PCEN 신호와, 각각에 인가되는 PC 신호에 의해 상기 프리 차지 전압을 상기 다수의 데이터 배선에 선택적으로 인가하는 유기전계발광소자.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 스위칭부는 상기 입력 전류를 온/오프하는 제 1 스위치와;상기 프리 차지 전압을 온/오프하는 제 2 스위치와;상기 제 2 스위치와 연결되고, 상기 PCEN 신호와 상기 PC 신호를 전달받아 제 2 스위치를 온/오프하는 스위칭 수단을 포함하는 유기전계발광소자.
- 제 2 항에 있어서,상기 스위칭 수단은 앤드(AND)회로로 구성되는 유기전계발광소자.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 화소는 상기 제 1 스위칭 박막트랜지스터와, 상기 제 1 드라이빙 박막트랜지스터와, 상기 파워 배선과 연결되는 스토리지 캐패시터를 더욱 갖는 유기전계발광소자.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 화소는 상기 제 1 스위칭 박막트랜지스터와, 상기 제 1 드라이빙 박막트랜지스터와, 상기 게이트 배선과 연결되는 제 2 스위칭 박막트랜지스터와;상기 제 1, 2 스위칭 박막트랜지스터와, 상기 파워 배선과 연결되는 제 2 드라아빙 박막트랜지스터를 더욱 갖는 유기전계발광소자.
- 제 5 항에 있어서,상기 제 1, 2 스위칭 박막트랜지스터는 이웃하는 상기 게이트 배선에 각각 연결되는 유기전계발광소자.
- 발광 다이오드를 갖는 화소를 구동하여 화상을 표시하는 유기전계발광소자 구동방법으로서,제 1 PCEN 신호가 인가되면, 상기 화소에 연결된 데이터 배선에 프리 차지 전압을 선택적으로 인가하는 단계와;제 2 PCEN 신호가 인가되면, 상기 데이터 배선에 전류를 공급하여 데이터 전압을 인가하는 단계를 포함하고,상기 프리 차지 전압을 상기 데이터 배선에 선택적으로 인가하는 단계는, 제 1 PCEN 신호가 인가된 경우에 제 1 PC 신호가 인가되면 상기 프리차지 전압을 상기 데이터 배선에 인가하고 제 2 PC 신호가 인가되면 상기 프리차지 전압을 상기 데이터 배선에 인가하지 않는 유기전계발광소자 구동방법.
- 제 7 항에 있어서,상기 제 1 PC 신호는 인가될 데이터 전압이 이전에 인가된 데이터 전압보다 큰 경우와, 인가될 데이터 전압이 기준이 되는 기준 전압보다 큰 경우와, 인가될 데이터 전압이 이전에 인가된 데이터 전압보다 크고 인가될 데이터 전압이 기준이 되는 기준 전압보다 큰 경우 중 선택된 하나에 대해 인가되는 유기전계발광소자 구동방법.
