Abstract
A PTZ camera controller is disclosed.
The present invention relates to a PTZ camera controller capable of changing a function of an operation unit provided on the left and right sides of the controller so as to set a user's two-handed operation mode.
Description
An embodiment of the present invention relates to a PTZ camera controller.
The content described in this section merely provides background information on embodiments of the present invention and does not constitute prior art.
PTZ (Pan-Tilt-Zoom) camera is a combination of Pan / Tilt driving device that can rotate up and down and right and left, and camera with full automatic zoom lens. Zoom in / out of the lens, and focus adjustment. Therefore, compared to a fixed camera, although it is expensive, it has a merit that it photographs a wide area around the camera through rotation of the camera, and allows a zoom lens to enlarge a distance / near shot and an object of interest.
Generally, a controller including a joystick, a button, and the like is used to control the operation of the PTZ camera. The controller has a fixed operating portion for controlling the zoom or focus function. For example, a controller manufactured by 'A company' has an operation section of a zoom function on the left side, and a controller manufactured by 'B company' has an operation section of a zoom function on the right side. In such a case, the user may find it difficult and inconvenient to operate the PTZ camera if the controller and the control unit used in the past have different positions.
Embodiments of the present invention have a main object to provide a PTZ camera controller capable of changing the functions of an operation unit provided on the left and right sides of the controller so as to set a user's two-handed operation mode.
According to an embodiment of the present invention, there is provided a controller for controlling the operation of a PTZ (Pan-Tilt-Zoom) camera, comprising: a first operation signal for controlling a panning or tilting of the PTZ camera; A first operation unit for generating a second operation signal for controlling any one of the plurality of focuses; A second operation unit for generating a third operation signal for controlling either the focus or the zoom of the PTZ camera; And controlling the PTZ camera based on an operation signal generated from the first operation unit and the second operation unit, wherein when a mode switching signal is input, the zoom and focus functions of the second operation signal and the third operation signal are switched And a controller for controlling the PTZ camera controller.
As described above, according to the present invention, since the PTZ camera controller can switch between the basic operation mode and the switching operation mode based on the mode switching signal of the user, it is possible to switch the hand direction for operating the zoom function and the focus function There is an effect that can be set. Accordingly, the user can quickly and accurately control the PTZ camera by operating the controller in the same manner as the conventional method.
