Claims (9)
- 다수 색의 방전 셀이 다수 배열되는 동시에, 각 방전 셀에 대응하는 색의 형광체층이 설치되고, 그 형광체층이 자외선에 의해 여기되어 발광하는 플라즈마 디스플레이 패널을 구비한 플라즈마 디스플레이 장치로서,상기 형광체층은, β-알루미나 결정 구조를 갖는 알루민산염계화합물 형광체 또는 이트륨산화물계 화합물 형광체로 이루어지는 녹색형광체층과, β-알루미나 결정 구조를 갖는 알루민산염계화합물 형광체로 이루어지는 청색형광체층과. 이트륨산화물계화합물 형광체로 이루어지는 적색형광체층인 것을 특징으로 하는 플라즈마 디스플레이 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 알루민산염계화합물인 녹색형광체는 xBaO·yMgO·zAl2O3·aMnO로 나타내어지는 화합물이고, x가 0.7 이상 0.95 이하, y가 0.05 이상 0.2 이하, z가 5.0 이상 6.0 이하, a가 0.05 이상 0.2 이하인 것을 특징으로 하는 플라즈마 디스플레이 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 알루민산염계화합물인 녹색형광체는 xBaO·yAl2O3·zMnO로 나타내어지는 화합물이고, x가 0.7 이상 0.95 이하, y가 5 이상 6이하, z가 0.05 이상 0.2 이하인 것을 특징으로 하는 플라즈마 디스플레이 장치.
- 제1항 내지 제3항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 알루민산염계화합물인 녹색형광체 중에 존재하는 2가의 Mn이온의 일부를 3가로 한 것을 특징으로 하는 플라즈마 디스플레이 장치.
- 제4항에 있어서, 알루민산염계화합물인 녹색형광체 중에 존재하는 Mn원자 중, 2가의 Mn이온 농도가 80%∼99%이고, 3가의 Mn이온 농도가 1%∼20%인 것을 특징으로 하는 플라즈마 디스플레이 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 이트륨산화물계화합물인 녹색형광체는 ReBO3:Tb(단, Re는, Y, Sc, La, Ce, Gd 중의 어느 하나의 종)으로 나타내어지는 화합물이고, 알루민산염계 화합물의 녹색형광체와 혼합하여 이용하는 것을 특징으로 하는 플라즈마 디스플레이 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 알루민산염계화합물인 청색형광체는, Ba1- xEuxMgAl10O17또는 Ba1-x-yEuxSryMgAl10O17로나타내어지는 화합물이고, x가 0.05 이상 0.2 이하, y가 0.05 이상 0.5 이하인 것을 특징으로 하는 플라즈마 디스플레이 장치.
- 제7항에 있어서, 청색형광체 중에 존재하는 Eu원자 중, 2가의 Eu이온 농도가40%∼90%이고, 3가의 Eu이온 농도가 10%∼60%인 것을 특징으로 하는 플라즈마 디스플레이표시장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 적색형광체는, (Y, Gd)1- xEuxBO3또는 (Y1- xEux)2O3으로 나타내어지는 화합물이고, x가 0.01 이상 0.3 이하인 것을 특징으로 하는 플라즈마 디스플레이 장치.
