본 명세서에서의 서브루틴들(60(도 4) 및 80(도 6))의 설명으로부터, 당업자는 본 발명의 서브루틴들이 4개 이상의 추천된 프로그램들의 동일한 슬롯 시청을 실행할 필요가 있다는 것을 이해할 것이다.

Claims (7)

  1. 타임 슬롯 동안 텔레비전 스크린(20) 상에 2개 이상의 추천된 프로그램들을 선택적으로 디스플레이하는 방법(40)에 있어서,
    상기 타임 슬롯 동안 제 1 추천된 프로그램이 제 1 채널상으로 방송되는 동안에, 상기 텔레비전 스크린(20) 상에서 제 1의 가장 높은 시청 우선순위(priority)를 갖는 상기 제 1 추천된 프로그램의 디스플레이를 제어하도록 컴퓨터(30)를 조작하는 단계; 및
    상기 타임 슬롯 동안 제 2 추천된 프로그램(72)이 제 2 채널상으로 방송되고 상기 타임 슬롯 동안 제 1 광고 방송(commercial)이 상기 제 1 채널상으로 방송되는 동안에, 상기 텔레비전 스크린(20) 상에서 제 2의 가장 높은 시청 우선순위를 갖는 상기 제 2 추천된 프로그램(72)의 디스플레이를 제어하도록 상기 컴퓨터(30)를 조작하는 단계를 포함하는 디스플레이 방법(40).
  2. 제 1 항에 있어서,
    상기 타임 슬롯 동안 상기 제 1 광고 방송(71)이 상기 제 1 채널상으로 방송되고 상기 타임 슬롯 동안 제 2 광고 방송이 상기 제 2 채널상으로 방송되는 동안에, 상기 텔레비전 스크린(20) 상에서 제 3의 가장 높은 시청 우선순위를 갖는 제 3 추천된 프로그램의 디스플레이를 제어하도록 상기 컴퓨터(30)를 조작하는 단계를 더 포함하는 디스플레이 방법(40).
  3. 제 1 항에 있어서,
    상기 타임 슬롯 동안 상기 제 1 광고 방송(71)이 상기 제 1 채널상으로 방송되는 동안에, 상기 텔레비전 스크린(20) 상에서 상기 제 1 광고 방송(71) 및 상기 제 2 추천된 프로그램(72)의 동시 디스플레이를 제어하도록 상기 컴퓨터(30)를 조작하는 단계를 더 포함하는 디스플레이 방법(40).
  4. 타임 슬롯 동안 텔레비전 스크린(20) 상에 2개 이상의 추천된 프로그램들을 선택적으로 디스플레이하는 컴퓨터 시스템(30)에 있어서,
    상기 타임 슬롯 동안 제 1 채널상으로 방송되는 제 1 광고 방송(71)을 검출하도록 동작할 수 있는 광고 방송 검출 모듈(37); 및
    상기 타임 슬롯 동안 제 1 추천된 프로그램(70)이 상기 제 1 채널상으로 방송되는 동안에, 상기 텔레비전 스크린(20) 상에서 제 1의 가장 높은 시청 우선순위를 갖는 상기 제 1 추천된 프로그램(70)의 디스플레이를 제어하도록 동작할 수 있는 다중 시청 모듈(38)을 구비하며,
    상기 다중 시청 모듈(38)은 또한, 상기 제 1 채널상으로 방송되는 제 1 광고 방송(71)의 상기 광고 방송 검출 모듈(37)에 의한 검출에 응답하여, 상기 타임 슬롯에서 제 2 추천된 프로그램(72)이 제 2 채널상으로 방송되는 동안에, 상기 텔레비전 스크린(20) 상에서 제 2의 가장 높은 시청 우선순위를 갖는 제 2 추천된 프로그램(72)의 디스플레이를 제어하도록 동작할 수 있는, 컴퓨터 시스템.
  5. 제 4 항에 있어서,
    상기 광고 방송 검출 모듈(37)은 또한, 상기 타임 슬롯 동안 상기 제 2 채널상으로 방송되는 제 2 광고 방송을 검출하도록 동작할 수 있고,
    상기 다중 시청 모듈(38)은, 상기 타임 슬롯 동안 상기 제 1 채널상으로 방송되는 상기 제 1 광고 방송(71) 및 상기 타임 슬롯 동안 상기 제 2 채널상으로 방송되는 상기 제 2 광고 방송의 상기 광고 방송 검출 모듈(37)에 의한 검출에 응답하여 상기 타임 슬롯 동안 제 3 추천된 프로그램이 제 3 채널상으로 방송되는 동안에, 상기 텔레비전 스크린(20) 상에서 제 3의 가장 높은 시청 우선순위를 갖는 상기 제 3 추천된 프로그램의 디스플레이를 제어하도록 동작할 수 있는, 컴퓨터 시스템.
  6. 제 4 항에 있어서,
    상기 다중 시청 모듈(38)은 또한, 상기 타임 슬롯 동안 상기 제 1 채널상으로 방송되는 상기 제 1 광고 방송의 상기 광고 방송 검출 모듈(37)에 의한 검출에 응답하여 상기 제 2 프로그램이 상기 제 2 채널상으로 방송되는 동안에, 상기 텔레비전 스크린(20) 상에 상기 제 1 광고 방송(71) 및 상기 제 2 추천된 프로그램(72)의 동시 디스플레이를 제어하도록 동작할 수 있는, 컴퓨터 시스템.
