상기한 나뭇결무늬판재는 표면을 경면으로 성형하여 고급판재로 사용되는데 종래에는 나뭇결무늬판재의 표면에 상기 U-V도료를 로울러코팅(Rool coating)방법으로 수회 코팅한 U-V도료층에 자외선광을 조사하여 경화도막층을 얻어 내었으나 그 도막층 표면은 로울러코팅의 특성상 경면의 표면이 되지 못하고 거칠은면(오랜지껍질면 모양) 형태로 나타나기 때문에 후공정으로 표면을 연마가공한 후 스프레이(spray) 표면성형도료를 스프레이하여 경면을 얻어내었으므로 여러공정을 거치는작업공정상의 어려움은 물론 고비용과 많은 시간의 소요로 량산이 어렵고 고비용부담의 경제적 손실이 큰 문제점이 있었다.The above-mentioned wood grain pattern plate is used as a high-grade plate by shaping the surface into a mirror surface.
