Abstract

PURPOSE: Provided is an economical preparation method of manganese sulfate with high purity, high yield and easy industrialization by using ferro alloy(Fe-Mn) electric furnace dust. CONSTITUTION: Manganese sulfate is prepared by the following steps of: mixing 43-45wt.% of concentrated H2SO4, 60-70wt.% of Fe-Mn electric furnace dust and 6-7wt.% of ferro manganese; heating at 95deg.C for 5hrs; filtering; adding 3-4wt.% of Zn powder to the filtrate for removal of heavy metals, concentrating and drying.
