Abstract

PURPOSE: An intake air noise reducing apparatus is provided to reduce noise generated when air passes through an outlet of a bypass pipe by allowing air, which has passed through a throttle valve, to move upwards. CONSTITUTION: A throttle valve(11) is formed at the center of a throttle body(10). A bypass pipe(12) is installed at one side of the throttle body(10). An idle control valve(14) is formed in the bypass pipe(12). A vacuum hole(15) is formed at a sidewall of the throttle body(10) in such a manner that the vacuum hole(15) is positioned at a rear end of the throttle valve(11). The vacuum hole(15) is connected with an outlet of an exhaust manifold(17) through a vacuum pipe(16). The vacuum hole(15) is positioned at the very upper portion of the outlet of the bypass pipe(12) so as to allow air, which has passed through the throttle valve(11), to move upwards.
