Abstract
Description
Claims (18)
- 다결정 다이어몬드(PCD)또는 다결정 입방정 질화붕소(PCBN)로 이루어진 그룹으로부터 선택된 다결정 물질을 포함하는 다결정 성형체를 구비한 외부 가공층과; 상기 외부 가공층을 지지하도록 선택되고, 제1, 2측면을 갖으며, 상기 제1측면에는 복수개의 돌출부가 형성된 지지부와; 상기 외부 가공층과 상기 지지부 층 사이에 배치되고 상기 지지부의돌출부를 수용하고 상기 지지부에 결합되도록 형성된 제1측면과, 상기 외부 가공층에 결합되는 제2측면을 갖음과 함께,100중량%중에서 다결정 다이어몬드(PCD)또는 다결정 입방정 질화붕소(PCBN)로 이루어진 그룹으로부터 선택된 다결정 물질인 70중량%이상과, 여기에 결합제(VIII족 금속중 적어도 하나) 또는 결합매개물(IVb, Vb, VIb족 천이금속의 탄화물,질화물, 탄화 질화물중 적어도 하나)중 선택한 1종 이상이 30중량% 이하로 조성된 중간층을 구비한 것을 특징으로 하는다결정 공구.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 지지부가 복수개의 돌출부를 구비한 것을 특징으로 하는 다결정 공구.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 돌출부는 넓게 라운드 처리된 것을 특징으로 하는 다결정 공구.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 중간층은 상기 돌출부상에 위치하며, 상기 외부 가공층을 상기 돌출부로부터 분리시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 다결정 공구.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 중간층은 코발트를 구비하고, 상기 외부 가공층은 코발트 양을 조절하여서 된 것임을 특징으로 하는 다결정 공구.
- 제1항에 있어서, VIII족 금속중 적어도 하나인 결합제가 코발트, 니켈, 철로 이루어진 것으로 부터 선택한것을 특징으로 하는 다결정 공구.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 중간층 중에서 결합제가 1∼10중량%인 것을 특징으로 하는 다결정 공구.
- 다결정 요소를 수용하도록 형성되고, 복수개의 돌출부를 갖는 지지부와; 복수개의 소결된 또는 결합된 초경 결정체와, 다결정 다이아몬드(PCD) 또는 다결정 입방정 질화붕소(PCBN)로 이루어진 그룹으로부터 선택된 다결정 물질에 결합체(VIII족 금속중 적어도 하나) 또는 결합매개물(IVb, Vb, VIb족 천이금속의 탄화물, 질화물, 탄화 질화물 중 적어도 하나) 중 선택하여 혼합된 물질을 갖고, 최소 50% 부피이며, 상기 돌출부와 상기 지지부에 위치되어 결합될 수 있도록 형성된 중간층과; 상기 중간층에 결합된 외부 가공층을 구비한 것을 특징으로 하는 새로운 지지부를 갖는 다결정 성형체.
- 제8항에 있어서, 상기 결합 물질은 코발트, 니켈, 철로 구성된 그룹으로부터 선택된 것을 특징으로 하는새로운 지지부를 갖는 다결정 성형체.
- 제8항에 있어서, 상기 중간층은 외부 가공층을 상기 지지부의 돌출부로부터 구분시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 새로운 지지부를 갖는 다결정 성형체.
- 제8항에 있어서, 상기 외부 가공층과 상기 중간층 각각은 복수의 결정체와 상기 결정체들은 서로 결합시키기 위한 결합재를 포함하여 상기 중간층이 외부 가공층 보다 더 높은 결합 매개물 농도를 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 새로운 지지부를 갖는 다결정 성형체.
- 제11항에 있어서, 상기 중간층의 결합매개물 함량이 30중량% 이하인 것을 특징으로 하는 새로운 지지부를 갖는 다결정 성형체.
- a) 코발트가 결합된 탄화물 지지부로 이루어진 디스크를 준비하는 단계와;b) 금속제 용기 내에 상기 지지부를 위치시키는 단계와;c) 상기 디스크에 충분한 양의 다결정 물질과 결합매개물 또 는결합재를 덮어 중간층을 형성하는 단계와;d) 중간층에 다결정 물질을 덮어 외부 가공층을 형성하는 단계를 구비한 것을 특징으로 하는 절삭 공구의중간층에 새로운 지지부를 갖는 성형체를 생산하는 방법.
- 제13항에 있어서, 주름진 표면을 갖는 디스크를 사용하여 주름진 표면위에 중간층을 배치하는 단계를 더구비한 것을 특징으로 하는 절삭 공구의 중간층에 새로운 지지부를 갖는 성형체를 생산하는 방법.
- 제13항에 있어서, 코발트, 니켈, 철을 구비한 그룹으로부터 선택된 결합재를 사용하지 않고 외부 가공층을 형성하는 방법을 더 구비한 것을 특징으로 하는 절삭 공구의 중간층에 새로운 지지부를 갖는 성형체를 생산하는 방법.
- 제13항에 있어서, 상기 지지부, 상기 중간층 및 상기 외부 가공층을 최소 1300℃에서 최소 6분동안 열처리 하는 단계를 더 구비한 것을 특징으로 하는 절삭 공구의 중간층에 상기 지지부를 갖는 성형체를 생산하는 방법.
- 제16항에 있어서, 상기 지지부, 상기 상기 중간층 및 상기 외부 가공층은 45∼60kb 사이로 가압되는 단계를 더 구비한 것을 특징으로 하는 절삭 공구의 중간층에 새로운 지지부를 갖는 성형체를 생산하는 방법.
- 제13항에 있어서, 상기 중간층이 다결정 입방정 질화붕소(PCBN)으로 형성되어 있는 경우에 상기 외부 가공층은 다결정 다이아몬드(PCD)로 형성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 절삭 공구의 중간층에 새로운 지지부를 갖는 성형체를 생산하는 방법.
