Abstract

PURPOSE: A tail gate latch device of a vehicle is provided to perform a function of a guide bumper by improving a structure of the tail gate latch device. CONSTITUTION: A tail gate latch device is formed with a striker(200) and a latch(100). The striker(200) is formed with a body(210), a rod portion(220), and a stopper(230). A through-hole(202) is formed in the body(210). A body frame is combined with body(210) by the through-hole(202) and a bolt. The rod portion(220) is loaded on both sides of the body(210). The stopper(230) is installed in the body(210) in order to restrain rotation of the rod portion(220). A latch(100) is formed with a case(130), a pawl portion(120), and a latch portion. The pawl portion(120) has a locking portion combined with a center portion of the rod portion(220). The locking portion is supported by a spring. The latch portion has a projection supporting the pawl portion(120).
