PURPOSE: A lacquer tree beverage that has anti cancer ingredient-urushiol is prepared to help consumers drink conveniently. CONSTITUTION: The lacquer tree beverage is prepared by (i) immersing 2 kg of bark, 0.2 kg of shoot, 2 kg root in 15 L of water, followed by boiling for 2 hrs; (ii) filtering above solution; (iii) mixing the solution with mineral water in a ration of 1:30 for dilution; (iv) adding thereto 5 wt.% of glucose for sweet taste. In addition, conventional additives may be added.
