Abstract

PURPOSE: A liquid cleanser composition is provided, which is composed of only the raw materials of graded food and has strong cleansing power and is safe to the human body. CONSTITUTION: The liquid cleanser composition comprises 0.1-30 wt% of water-soluble chitosan; 0.1-50 wt% of saponin which is extracted from Quillaja; 0.1-50 wt% of a nonionic surfactant; and 0.1-5.0 wt% of an anionic surfactant. The pH of the composition is preferably 4.5-6.0. Preferably the nonionic surfactant is polyoxyethylene monolaurate of a nonionic surfactant; and an anionic surfactant is sodium monostearyl lactate.
