Claims (10)
- 종방향의 소기방식(longitudinal scavenging)을 구비하는 특히 대형인 2행정 디젤연소엔진에 있어서,피스톤이 왕복운동을 할 수 있도록 배설되어 있는 적어도 하나의 실린더(2)―여기서 실린더(2)는 연소가스를 이송하여 배출하기 위한 출구 밸브, 및 실린더(2) 내부로 소기용 공기(scavenging air)가 통과하여 도입될 수 있는 복수의 소기용 개구부(21)를 가짐―를 포함하고,매번 연소 공정에서 발생하는 연소가스의 일부분이 상기 실린더(2) 내에 잔류하도록 소기를 감소시키기 위한 수단이 상기 실린더(2)에 제공되는2행정 디젤연소엔진.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 소기용 개구부(21)의 축방향 높이(H)가 소기를 감소시키기 위한 수단으로서의 역할을 하는 2행정 디젤연소엔진.
- 제2항에 있어서,상기 소기용 개구부(21)의 축방향 높이(H)가 피스톤(3)의 스트로크의 5% 이하, 바람직하게는 4% 이하, 특히 바람직하게는 약 2% 내지 3%인 2행정 디젤연소엔진.
- 제1항 내지 제3항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,상기 출구 밸브(5)의 흐름 단면(flow cross-section)(D)이 상기 소기를 감소시키기 위한 수단으로서의 역할을 하는 2행정 디젤연소엔진.
- 제4항에 있어서,상기 실린더(2)의 보어(bore)(B)에 대한 상기 출구 밸브(5)의 흐름 단면의 비율이 최대 0.4이고 바람직하게는 약 0.3 내지 0.4인 2행정 디젤연소엔진.
- 제1항 내지 제5항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,상기 실린더(2) 내부로 물을 도입하기 위해 물 분사노즐(water injection nozzle)(8)이 추가로 배설되는 2행정 디젤연소엔진.
- 제6항에 있어서,물이 대부분 연소가스 속으로 분사되도록 상기 물 분사노즐(8)이 배설되는 2행정 디젤연소엔진.
- 제6항 또는 제7항에 있어서,상기 출구 밸브(5)가 닫힌 후에 상기 물 분사노즐(8)이 상기 실린더(2) 내부로 물을 분사하도록 제어되는 2행정 디젤연소엔진.
- 제6항 내지 제8항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,연료의 분사가 시작되기 전에 물의 도입이 종료되도록 상기 물 분사노즐(8)이 제어되는 2행정 디젤연소엔진.
- 제4항 내지 제8항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,각각의 실린더(2)에 복수의 물 분사노즐(8)이 배설되는 2행정 디젤연소엔진.
