Claims (4)
- 엔진 본체와,
높이 방향을 제 1 방향이라고 했을 때, 상기 제 1 방향과 수직한 방향인 제 2 방향으로 연장되는 크랭크축과,
상기 제 2 방향에 있어서의 상기 엔진 본체의 일방측에 배치된 냉각팬과,
배기 매니폴드와,
상기 배기 매니폴드로부터의 배기 가스에 의해 구동되는 과급기와,
상기 배기 매니폴드로부터의 배기 가스를 정화하는 배기 가스 정화 장치와,
상기 과급기와 상기 배기 가스 정화 장치를 접속하는 접속관을 구비하고,
상기 배기 가스 정화 장치는 길이 방향이 상기 제 2 방향과 평행이 되는 자세로 배치되고,
상기 접속관은 상기 배기 가스 정화 장치의 상기 제 2 방향에 있어서의 상기 냉각팬측과 연결되어 있고,
상기 접속관은 상기 배기 매니폴드의 측방이며 상기 과급기의 하방을 통과하도록 배치되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 엔진. - 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 접속관은 상기 제 2 방향과 평행하게 연장되는 직선부를 갖고,
상기 배기 매니폴드 및 상기 과급기는 상기 직선부의 하단보다 상측에 배치 되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 엔진. - 제 2 항에 있어서,
상기 제 1 방향 및 상기 제 2 방향 중 어느 것과도 수직한 방향을 제 3 방향이라고 했을 때, 상기 과급기는 상기 제 3 방향에 있어서의 상기 엔진 본체의 일방측에 배치되고,
상기 제 3 방향을 따르는 방향에서 봤을 때, 상기 직선부는 적어도 일부가 상기 배기 매니폴드와 겹치도록, 또한 상기 과급기와 상하로 인접해서 배치됨과 아울러,
상기 제 2 방향을 따르는 방향에서 봤을 때, 상기 직선부는 상기 배기 매니폴드와 상기 제 3 방향으로 서로 인접해서 배치되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 엔진. - 제 1 항 내지 제 3 항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,
상기 제 1 방향 및 상기 제 2 방향 중 어느 것에나 수직한 방향을 제 3 방향이라고 했을 때, 상기 과급기는 상기 제 3 방향에 있어서의 상기 엔진 본체의 일방측에 배치되고,
상기 접속관은 상기 과급기의 상기 제 3 방향에 있어서의 상기 엔진 본체로부터 먼 측의 단부보다 상기 제 3 방향에 있어서 상기 엔진 본체에 가까운 측에 배치되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 엔진.
