Abstract
본 발명은, 복수의 개개의 컨버터를 포함하는, 모바일 애플리케이션에서 전기 공급을 위한 DC/DC 컨버터에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 따르면, 개개의 컨버터는 각각 DC/DC 컨버터이고, 전기적으로 병렬로 접속되고, 각각 반도체 스위치들을 포함한다.
Description
본 발명은, 예를 들어, 선박(ship)에서와 같은, 모바일 애플리케이션에서 사용하기 위한, 전기 컨버터, 특히 DC/DC 컨버터에 관한 것이다.
선박들 및 선박 추진 유닛들(ship propulsion units)의 전기 공급을 위한 연료 전지들(fuel cells)의 사용에 대한 중요성이 점점 더 증가하고 있다. 연료 전지의 출구들(outlets)에서 인가되는 전기 전압은 선박의 전기 시스템에서 요구된 동작 전압 및 DC/DC 컨버터를 통해 바람직하게 조정된다. DC/DC 컨버터의 출력들에 접속되는 축전지(accumulator)는 전기 에너지의 버퍼링을 용인한다. 이것은, 연료 전지가 출력 전력에서 상대적으로 느린 변화들만을 허가하므로 바람직하다. 또한, 하나 이상의 선박의 엔진들과 나머지 전기 시스템은, 예를 들어, 축전지에 병렬로 접속된다.
선박들에서 연료 전지용 DC/DC 컨버터들은 수 백 ㎾까지의 성능 범위에서 동작한다. IGBT 기술(IGBT = Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor)에 근거한 DC/DC 컨버터는 바람직하게는 이러한 성능 등급(performance class)을 위해 사용된다. 이러한 반도체 컴포넌트들은 동시에 높은 포텐셜 전압 스트레스를 갖는 높은 전류-운반 능력을 디스플레이한다. 이것은 결국 필요한 모든 전력이 단일 DC/DC 컨버터에 의해 제공되는 것을 가능하게 한다. 높은 스위칭 손실로 인해 이러한 기술에 의해 20㎑보다 적은 상대적으로 낮은 스위칭 주파수들만 획득되는 것은 바람직하지 않고, 결과적으로 큰 치수(large dimensions)의 수동 컴포넌트들, 이를테면, 커패시터, 인덕터 및 변압기를 야기한다.

이러한 성능 등급 및 주파수에서 유도성 컴포넌트들(inductive components)이 용인되는 부피에서 높은 출력을 전송하기 위해 코어에서 비교적 높은 자속 밀도로 동작되는 것은 바람직하지 않다. 이것은 결과적으로 보호 조치를 필요하게 만들 수 있는 높은 표유전계(stray fields)를 반드시 야기한다.
알려진 구성의 또 다른 단점은, 낮은 스위칭 주파수들이 가청 소음 생성을 의미한다는 것이다. 선박이 해양 관측선(research ship)으로서 사용되는 경우에, 소음이 물에서의 측정을 막을 수 있다. 또한, 소음이 해양 동물을 방해할 수 있다. 그 결과, 예를 들어, 유람선(cruise ships)이나 페리(ferries)의 이동 반경은 동물 보호 그라운드에서 한정될 수 있다. 잠수함의 경우에, 소음은 결과적으로 잠수함의 탐지가능성(detectability)을 증가시킬 수 있다.
마지막으로, 또 다른 단점은, 예를 들어, 리던던트 실시예를 통해 사용가능하게 되는 DC/DC 컨버터의 증가된 신뢰도는 DC/DC 컨버터의 중복 또는 증식(duplication or multiplication)을 필요로 하는데, 이는 선박에서 사용가능한 공간이 있음에도 불구하고 문제가 된다는 것이다.
본 발명의 목적은, 전술한 문제들이 감소되거나 개선되는 전기 컨버터를 규정하는 것이다.
이러한 목적은 청구항 1의 특징들을 갖는 DC/DC 컨버터에 의해 달성된다. 바람직한 실시예들은 종속-청구항들의 대상이다.
모바일 애플리케이션에서 전기 공급을 위한 본 발명에 따른 DC/DC 컨버터는 복수의 개개의 컨버터들을 갖는다. 개개의 컨버터들은 결국 마찬가지로 각각 DC/DC 컨버터들이다. 또한, 개개의 컨버터들은 전기적으로 병렬로 접속되고, 각각 반도체 스위치들을 갖는다. 개개의 컨버터들 각각은 그 자신의 인덕터를 갖는다.
편의상, DC/DC 컨버터는 반도체 스위치들의 스위칭 동작들을 제어하는 제어 시스템을 갖는다. 편의상, 제어 시스템은 모든 개개의 컨버터들에 대해 중앙에 위치한다. 대안적으로, 모든 단일 개개의 컨버터를 위해 복수의 별도의 제어가 제공될 수도 있다. 예를 들어, 개개의 컨버터들은, 제어 시스템이 단지 상위 태스크들(superordinate tasks)만을 수행하도록, 그들 자신의 각각의 부분 제어 시스템을 갖는 모듈들로서 설계될 수 있다.

또한, 본 발명에 따른 컨버터의 경우에, DE 11 2006 002 698 T5의 컨버터와는 대조적으로, 바람직하게는, 전체 시스템을 셧다운할 필요없이, 동작 동안 개개의 컨버터들을 절단하거나 심지어 교체하는 것이 가능하다.
반대로, 이제, 증가된 페일-세이프(fail-safe) 동작이 리던던시에 의해 바람직하게 획득될 수 있다. 예를 들어, 개개의 컨버터들의 수는 필요한 총 출력에 기인하는 수에 비해 아주 조금 증가된다. 예를 들어, 15개의 필요한 개개의 컨버터 대신, 18개의 개개의 컨버터가 사용될 수 있다. 특히, 개개의 컨버터의 수는 따라서 두 배가 될 필요는 없다. 또 다른 접근법에서, 개개의 컨버터들의 출력은, 축적된 출력이 애플리케이션의 필요성에 기인하는 획득될 총 출력보다 더 큰 방식으로도 설계될 수 있다.

복수의 개개의 컨버터들(10a...n)
을 포함하고,
상기 개개의 컨버터들(10a...n)은,
각각 DC/DC 컨버터들이고,
전기적으로 병렬로 접속되고,
각각 적어도 부분적으로 MOSFET들(30a...d)인 반도체 스위치들(30a...d)을 갖고,
갈바니 전기에 의해 격리되며(galvanically isolated),
상기 개개의 컨버터들(10a...n) 각각은 별도의 인덕터, 로우-패스 필터(34) 및 전류 감지 저항기(33)를 포함하고, 상기 로우-패스 필터(34)는 상기 개개의 컨버터들(10a...n)의 출력에 위치하고, 상기 전류 감지 저항기(33)는 출력 측 전류 측정을 위하여 상기 로우-패스 필터(34)의 출력 측에 위치하고,
상기 반도체 스위치들(30a...d)에 대해 50㎑보다 큰 스위칭 주파수를 사용하도록 설계되는 제어 시스템(11)을 더 포함하는 DC/DC 컨버터(10). - 삭제
