Claims (12)
- 비디오 기록 장치에서, 프로그램 정보의 손실 없이 정상 재생 속도보다 빠른 속도로 필름으로부터 기원하는 프로그램을 재생하는 방법으로서,재생 동안에, 필름 오리지널 자료(original material)를 나타내는 반복된 이미지 정보를 식별하는 단계; 및상기 필름으로부터 기원하는 프로그램의 재생 속도를 증가시키기 위해 상기 식별된 반복된 이미지 정보 중 일부 이미지 정보를 선택적으로 제거(drop)하는 단계를 포함하며,상기 식별된 반복된 이미지 정보 중 선택적으로 제거된 이미지 정보의 수는 시간 정보(time information)를 특정하는 사용자 입력 또는 동일한 반복된 이미지 정보 중 어느 이미지 정보가 제거되어야 하는지를 나타내는 정수에 응답하여 결정되는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 시간 정보를 특정하는 사용자 입력에 응답하여 상기 반복된 이미지 정보가 제거된 후 획득되는 재생 속도를 자동으로 계산하는 단계를 더 포함하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 시간 정보를 특정하는 상기 사용자 입력은 기록된 프리젠테이션 자료의 재생 완료를 위해 요구된 시간을 식별하는 방법.
- 제2항에 있어서,자동으로 계산된 상기 속도로 상기 반복된 이미지 정보를 선택적으로 제거하는 단계를 더 포함하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 반복된 이미지 정보는 중복 필드 화상(redundant field picture)들을 포함하는 방법.
- 정상 재생 속도보다 빠른 속도로 필름으로부터 기원하는 프로그램의 재생을 용이하게 하는 디지털 비디오 레코더로서,필름으로부터 기원하는 프로그램을 갖는 기록을 포함하는 디지털 비디오 저장 매체;비압축 화상 신호를 형성하기 위해 상기 기록을 디코딩하는 디코더; 및텔레비전 표시 속도를 위해 상기 비압축 화상 신호를 수신 및 포맷팅하고, 또한 중복 필드 화상들을 선택적으로 제거하고 상기 필름으로부터 기원하는 프로그램의 상기 재생 속도를 증가시키도록 상기 포맷팅을 제어하는 디스플레이 프로세서를 포함하며,제거되는 상기 중복 필드 화상들의 수는 시간 정보를 특정하는 사용자 입력, 또는 동일한 중복 필드 중 어느 필드가 제거되어야 하는지를 나타내는 정수에 응답하여 결정되는 디지털 비디오 레코더.
- 제6항에 있어서,상기 디스플레이 프로세서는 텔레비전 화상 표시 속도를 생성하도록 상기 비압축 화상 신호 내의 화상들을 제어가능하게 복제함으로써 텔레비전 표시를 위해 상기 비압축 화상 신호를 포맷팅하는 디지털 비디오 레코더.
- 제6항에 있어서,상기 디스플레이 프로세서는 상기 사용자 입력에 응답하여, 상기 제거되는 중복 필드 화상들의 수를 선택적으로 제어하는 디지털 비디오 레코더.
- 제6항에 있어서,상기 시간 정보를 특정하는 사용자 입력에 응답하여 상기 중복 필드 화상들이 제거된 후 획득되는 재생 속도를 자동으로 계산하는 제어 프로세서를 더 포함하는 디지털 비디오 레코더.
- 제9항에 있어서,상기 시간 정보를 특정하는 사용자 입력은 프리젠테이션의 완료를 위해 요구된 시간을 식별하는 디지털 비디오 레코더.
- 제9항에 있어서,상기 디스플레이 프로세서는 자동으로 계산된 상기 속도로 상기 중복 필드 화상들을 선택적으로 제거하는 디지털 비디오 레코더.
