도 2는 본 발명의 제1 실시예에 따른 LED 패키지를 나타내는 개략사시도,
도 3은 도 2에 표시된 Ⅲ-Ⅲ선을 따라 나타내는 단면도,
도 4는 발산각을 줄이기 위한 별도의 구성이 없는 통상의 LED 패키지의 발산각을 광선 추적법을 사용하여 계산한 결과를 나타내는 그래프,
도 5는 본 발명의 제1 실시예에 따른 LED 패키지의 발산각을 광선 추적법을 사용하여 계산한 결과를 나타내는 그래프,
도 6은 본 발명의 제1 실시예에 따른 LED 패키지에 렌즈를 설치한 예를 나타내는 단면도,
도 7은 본 발명의 제2 실시예에 따른 LED 패키지를 나타내는 개략사시도이다.

Claims (7)
- 서브마운트;
상기 서브마운트 상에 배치되는 사각형상의 LED 칩; 및
상기 LED 칩에서 발산되는 광의 발산각을 제한하기 위해 상기 LED 칩을 둘러싸도록 상기 서브마운트 상에 배치되며, 상기 LED 칩으로부터 발산되는 광을 반사하기 위한 내면을 갖는 통 형상의 발산각 제한부재;를 포함하며,
상기 발산각 제한부재의 높이는 상기 LED 칩의 발산광이 나오는 상기 발산각 제한부재의 입구의 폭보다 크게 형성되고, 상기 LED 칩은 상기 LED 칩의 4개의 모서리가 상기 발산각 제한부재의 내면에 접하는 크기로 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 LED 패키지. - 제1항에 있어서, 상기 서브마운트는 상기 LED 칩 및 발산각 제한부재가 배치되는 면이 광 흡수가 적은 반사층이 형성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 LED 패키지.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 반사층은 Ag 코팅층 또는 흰색 페인트층인 것을 특징으로 하는 LED 패키지.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 발산각 제한부재는 내주면이 광 흡수가 적고 광 산란이 가능한 코팅층이 형성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 LED 패키지.
- 제4항에 있어서, 상기 코팅층은 소정의 거칠기를 갖도록 형성되거나 흰색 페인트로 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 LED 패키지.
- 제1항 내지 제5항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 발산각 제한부재는 내부가 원형, 타원형, 사각형 및 직사각형 중 어느 하나로 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 LED 패키지.
- 제1항 내지 제5항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 발산각 제한부재는 내부가 봉지제로 충진되며, 상기 봉지제의 일부가 상기 발산각 제한부재의 입구 주위에 반구형 렌즈 형상으로 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 LED 패키지.
