Claims (13)
- C, M, Y, K 채널을 이용하여 컬러 이미지를 인쇄하는 컬러 화상형성장치의 제어방법에 있어서,컬러 이미지 영역인지 아닌지 판단하는 판단단계;컬러 이미지 영역일 경우, C, M, Y, K 채널 간의 경계영역정보를 검출하는 검출단계; 및상기 검출된 경계영역정보를 이용하여 확장해야 할 채널을 선택하고, 선택된 채널의 영역을 확장하는 확장단계를 포함하며,상기 판단단계는, 상기 C, M, Y, K 채널에 대하여 3×3 윈도우를 설정하고, C, M, Y, K 비트맵을 생성하여 C. M. Y, K 채널간의 패턴 일치여부 또는 K 채널의 평탄여부에 기초하여 컬러 이미지 영역인지 아닌지를 판단하고, 상기 3×3 윈도우 내 모든 픽셀의 위치에서 상기 C, M, Y, K 채널이 동시에 모두 "도트 온"이거나 모두 "도트 오프"가 아닌 경우, 상기 C, M, Y, K 채널간의 패턴이 일치하지 않는 것으로 판단하는 것을 특징으로 하는 컬러 화상형성장치의 제어방법.

- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 판단단계는,상기 3×3 윈도우 내의 값들 중 K 채널 비트맵에서 "도트 온" 되어 있는 위치의 윈도우 값들의 평균값과, 상기 3×3 윈도우 내의 "도트 온" 되어진 픽셀값들로부터 변동값을 산출하고, 산출된 변동값이 미리 설정된 값보다 크거나 같으면, 상기 K 채널이 평탄하지 않은 것으로 판단하는 것을 특징으로 하는 컬러 화상형성장치의 제어방법.
- 제 1항에 있어서, 상기 검출단계는,상기 C, M, Y, K 채널 각각에 대하여 에지정보 및 방향성정보를 추출하고, 추출된 에지정보 및 방향성정보를 이용하여 C, M, Y, K 채널 간의 경계영역정보를 검출하는 것을 특징으로 하는 컬러 화상형성장치의 제어방법.
- 제 5항에 있어서, 상기 검출단계는,상기 C, M, Y, K 채널 간의 인접성을 판단하기 위하여 C, M, Y, K 채널별로 화소값을 더 추출하고, 추출된 화소값을 이용하여 C, M, Y, K 채널 간의 경계영역정보를 검출하는 것을 특징으로 하는 컬러 화상형성장치의 제어방법.
- 제 1항에 있어서, 상기 확장단계는,기설정 저장된 룩 업 테이블과 상기 검출된 경계영역정보를 비교하여 확장해야 할 채널을 선택하고, 선택된 채널의 영역을 확장하는 것을 특징으로 하는 컬러 화상형성장치의 제어방법.
- C, M, Y, K 채널을 이용하여 컬러 이미지를 인쇄하는 컬러 화상형성장치의 제어방법에 있어서,상기 C, M, Y, K 채널 간의 패턴 일치여부 또는 K 채널의 평탄여부에 기초하여 컬러 이미지 영역인지 아닌지 판단하는 판단단계;컬러 이미지 영역일 경우, C, M, Y, K 채널 각각에 대하여 에지정보 및 방향성정보를 추출하고, 추출된 에지정보 및 방향성정보에 기초하여 C, M, Y, K 채널 간의 경계영역정보를 검출하는 검출단계; 및상기 검출된 경계영역정보를 이용하여 확장해야 할 채널을 선택하고, 선택된 채널의 영역을 확장하는 확장단계를 포함하고, 상기 판단단계는, 상기 C, M, Y, K 채널에 대하여 3×3 윈도우를 설정하고, C, M, Y, K 비트맵을 생성하여 C. M. Y, K 채널간의 패턴 일치여부 또는 K 채널의 평탄여부에 기초하여 컬러 이미지 영역인지 아닌지를 판단하고, 상기 3×3 윈도우 내 모든 픽셀의 위치에서 상기 C, M, Y, K 채널이 동시에 모두 "도트 온"이거나 모두 "도트 오프"가 아닌 경우, 상기 C, M, Y, K 채널간의 패턴이 일치하지 않는 것으로 판단하는 컬러 화상형성장치의 제어방법.
