Abstract
Description
Claims (19)
- 복수의 데이터 드라이버들; 및상기 복수의 데이터 드라이버들로 데이터를 전송하는 데이터 전송부 및 상기 데이터 전송부로 상기 데이터 및 상기 데이터에 상응하는 데이터 드라이버 주소를 전송하는 타이밍 컨트롤러부를 포함하는 타이밍 컨트롤러를 포함하고,상기 데이터 전송부는 상기 데이터 드라이버 주소를 기초로 상기 복수의 데이터 드라이버들 각각과 상기 데이터 전송부 간의 거리 차이를 인식하고, 상기 거리 차이로 인하여 발생될 수 있는 상기 데이터에 상응하는 전기적 신호의 왜곡 또는 전력 소모를 감소시킬 수 있도록 상기 전기적 신호를 제어하여 상기 제어된 전기적 신호를 전송하는 디스플레이 구동 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 데이터 전송부는상기 거리 차이를 기초로 상기 전기적 신호에 관하여 프리엠퍼시스(preemphasis)를 수행하는 것을 특징으로 하는 디스플레이 구동 장치.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 제어된 전기적 신호의 피크-피크 전압(VPP, Peak-Peak Voltage)은상기 거리 차이가 증가함에 따라 증가할 수 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 디스플레이 구동 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 데이터 전송부는상기 전기적 신호를 상기 복수의 데이터 드라이버들 각각에 순차적으로 전송하는 것을 특징으로 하는 디스플레이 구동 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 데이터 전송부는상기 전기적 신호를 상기 복수의 데이터 드라이버들의 적어도 일부에 동시에 전송하는 것을 특징으로 하는 디스플레이 구동 장치.

- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 데이터 전송부는상기 복수의 데이터 드라이버들 각각에 상응하고 상기 거리 차이가 미리 설정된 복수의 프리엠퍼시스부들을 포함하고,상기 타이밍 컨트롤러는 상기 데이터를 상기 복수의 프리엠퍼시스부들에 각각에 전송하는 타이밍 컨트롤러부를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 디스플레이 구동 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 복수의 데이터 드라이버들 각각은상기 거리 차이를 기초로 미리 설정되는 등화 계수를 이용하여 상기 전송된 전기적 신호에 관하여 등화를 수행하는 등화부를 포함하는 디스플레이 구동 장치.
