Abstract
Description
Claims (10)
- PSK 변조된 광 캐리어(optical carrier)의 코히런트 검출(coherent detection)을 위한 수신기에 있어서,상기 변조된 광 캐리어를 기준 광 캐리어(reference optical carrier)의 상이한 위상 성분들(phase components)과 혼합하고, 상기 혼합에 의해 생성된 광 신호를 나타내는 아날로그 출력 신호를 생성하도록 구성된 광 검출기(optical detector)와,상기 아날로그 출력 신호를 수신하고, 상기 수신된 아날로그 출력 신호로부터 디지털 신호를 생성하도록 접속된 아날로그-디지털 변환기와,상기 디지털 신호를 수신하도록 접속되어 있으며, 상기 수신된 디지털 신호의 상기 혼합된 성분들 간의 켤레 위상 이탈(conjugate phase misalignment)을 보상하거나 또는 상기 수신된 디지털 신호로부터 상기 두 캐리어 간의 주파수 오프셋(frequency offset)을 추정하도록 구성된 디지털 모듈을 포함하는코히런트 검출용 수신기.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 디지털 모듈은 적어도 4 개의 신호 포인트를 갖는 PSK 배열(constellation)에서 신호 포인트를 획득하기 위해 상기 PSK 변조된 광 캐리어를 디코딩하는코히런트 검출용 수신기.
- 제 2 항에 있어서,상기 디지털 모듈은 상기 수신된 디지털 신호의 상기 혼합된 위상 성분들의 켤레 위상 이탈을 보상하고, 상기 수신된 디지털 신호로부터 상기 두 캐리어의 주파수 오프셋을 추정하는코히런트 검출용 수신기.
- 제 2 항에 있어서,상기 디지털 모듈은 상기 수신된 디지털 신호의 상기 혼합된 성분들의 켤레 위상 이탈을 보상하고, 상기 수신된 디지털 신호의 위상을 미분하고, 상기 수신된 디지털 신호로부터 상기 두 캐리어의 주파수 오프셋을 추정하는코히런트 검출용 수신기.
- 제 2 항에 있어서,상기 디지털 모듈은 상기 두 캐리어 사이의 주파수 오프셋을 추정하기 위해 상기 수신된 디지털 신호를 이용하는 모듈을 포함하고,상기 디지털 모듈은, 상기 수신된 디지털 신호로부터 상기 추정된 주파수 오프셋에 대해 보상되는 디지털 신호를 생성하기 위해 상기 추정된 주파수 오프셋을 이용하는 모듈을 포함하며,상기 디지털 모듈은 상기 추정된 주파수 오프셋에 대해 보상되는 디지털 신호로부터 상기 광 캐리어로 변조된 데이터를 추출하도록 구성되는코히런트 검출용 수신기.
- 제 2 항에 있어서,상기 광 검출기는 제 1 및 제 2 광 혼합기를 더 포함하고, 각각의 광 혼합기는 상기 기준 광 캐리어의 위상 성분들 중 하나와 상기 수신된 광 캐리어를 혼합하도록 접속되는코히런트 검출용 수신기.
- PSK 변조된 광 캐리어를 기준 광 캐리어의 제 1 위상 성분과 혼합하는 단계와,상기 PSK 변조된 광 캐리어를 기준 광 캐리어의 제 2 위상 성분과 혼합하는 단계와,상기 혼합 단계에 의해 형성된 광 신호의 측정 세기(measure intensity)에 의해 전기 신호를 생성하는 단계와,일련의 디지털 신호를 생성하기 위해 상기 전기 신호를 디지털화하는 단계와,상기 제 1 및 제 2 위상 성분 사이의 켤레 위상 이탈을 보상하도록 상기 디지털 신호를 변환시키는 단계와,상기 변환된 디지털 신호의 위상의 편차(derivative)를 평가하는 단계와,상기 평가된 편차에 기초하여 상기 PSK 변조된 광 캐리어를 복조하는 단계를 포함하는 방법.
- 제 7 항에 있어서,상기 변환된 각각의 디지털 신호로부터 위상을 추출하는 단계를 더 포함하고,상기 평가 단계는 상기 위상의 편차를 결정하는 단계를 포함하는방법.
- 제 7 항에 있어서,상기 평가된 편차에 기초하여 상기 광 캐리어들 간의 주파수 오프셋을 추정하는 단계를 더 포함하는방법.
