Abstract
Description
상기 제 1 및 제 2공통전극에는 서로 위상이 반대인 삼각파 형태의 공통전압들이 공급된다.
상기 제 1 및 제 2공통전극에 공급되는 상기 공통전압들은 상기 게이트 전압이 하이전압에서 로우전압으로 변할 때 기준전압으로부터 상향 삼각파 형태로 상승하거나 하향 삼각파 형태로 하강하기 시작한 후에, 상기 게이트 전압이 상기 로우전압으로부터 하이전압으로 변한 다음 다시 상기 하이전압으로부터 상기 로우전압으로 변하는 기간 동안 상기 기준전압에 도달한다.
Claims (8)
- 도트 인버젼 및 컬럼 인버젼 중 어느 하나의 방식으로 구동되는 액정표시장치에 있어서,데이터전압이 공급되는 데이터라인;상기 데이터라인을 따라 형성되는 다수의 제 1공통전극;상기 데이터라인과 교차되고 게이트전압이 공급되는 게이트라인; 및상기 제 1공통전극과 교번적으로 형성되는 다수의 제 2공통전극을 구비하며,상기 제 1 및 제 2공통전극에는 서로 위상이 반대인 삼각파 형태의 공통전압들이 공급되고,상기 제 1 및 제 2공통전극에 공급되는 상기 공통전압들은 상기 게이트 전압이 하이전압에서 로우전압으로 변할 때 기준전압으로부터 상향 삼각파 형태로 상승하거나 하향 삼각파 형태로 하강하기 시작한 후에, 상기 게이트 전압이 상기 로우전압으로부터 하이전압으로 변한 다음 다시 상기 하이전압으로부터 상기 로우전압으로 변하는 기간 동안 상기 기준전압에 도달하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 데이터라인과 교차되게 형성되어 상기 제 1공통전극과 전기적으로 접속되는 제 1수평바와,상기 제 1수평바와 나란하게 형성되어 상기 제 2공통전극과 전기적으로 접속되는 제 2수평바를 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 삭제
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 삼각파 형태의 공통전압은 액정셀에 공급되는 데이터 전압의 극성과 반대 극성으로 설정되는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 도트 인버젼 방식으로 구동될 때 상기 제 1 및 제 2공통전극에 공급되는 상기 공통전압의 극성은 수평동기신호와 동일한 주기로 변화되는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 컬럼 인버젼 방식으로 구동될 때 상기 제 1 및 제 2공통전극에 공급되는 상기 공통전압의 극성은 수직동기신호와 동일한 주기로 변화되는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
