Claims (20)
- 이미지 또는 이미지들의 시퀀스에 나타나는 물체를, 상기 이미지에 대응하는 신호들을 처리함으로써 표현하는 방법으로서,상기 방법은 상기 물체의 형상의 CSS(curvature scale space) 표현을 유도하는 단계를 포함하고,상기 방법은 상기 CSS 표현의 피크들의 좌표값들을 양자화하여 상기 형상의 부호화된 표현을 유도하는 단계를 더 포함하며,상기 CSS 표현의 피크들은 피크 높이 성분 값들의 내림차순으로 정렬되고, 피크 높이 성분 값의 양자화 범위는 이전 피크 높이 성분 값에 기초하고,피크 높이 성분 값의 양자화된 표현에 할당되는 비트들의 수는 이전 피크 높이 성분 값의 양자화된 표현에 할당되는 비트들의 수와 동일하거나, 상기 이전 피크 높이 성분 값의 양자화된 표현에 할당되는 비트들의 수보다 작은 방법.

- 제1항에 기재된 방법을 수행하도록 프로그램되어 있는, 이미지 내의 물체의 표현을 유도하는 제어 디바이스.
- 이미지 내의 물체의 표현을 유도하는 장치로서,제5항에 기재된 제어 디바이스; 및이미지들 또는 이미지들의 표현들을 저장하는 저장 수단을 포함하는 장치.
- 제6항에 있어서,상기 저장 수단은 이미지 데이터베이스 또는 기술자 데이터베이스인 장치.

- 제1항에 기재된 방법의 모든 단계들을 수행하도록 구성된 컴퓨터 프로그램 코드 수단을 포함하는 컴퓨터 프로그램을 기록한 컴퓨터-판독가능한 기록 매체.
