- 무선 신호를 수신하는 장치로서,a) 하나 이상의 다중경로 신호 각각의 슬롯과 서브-슬롯 타이밍에 기초하여, 타이밍 신호를 생성하는 슬롯 타이밍 제어기로서, 소정 서브-슬롯의 신호는 상기 슬롯내의 다른 신호와는 상이한 빔을 따라 전송되는, 슬롯 타이밍 제어기;b) 상기 타이밍 신호에 기초하여 상기 하나 이상의 다중경로 신호 중 하나에 대한 C/I (carrier-to-interference) 를 예측하는 수단; 및c) 상기 C/I 에 기초하여, 정보를 송신기에 송신하는 수단을 구비하고,d) PN 코드의 동상 및 직교상 샘플들을 생성하는 PN 생성기; 및e) 상기 PN 생성기, 참조 버스트 칩 에너지 수단, 및 평균 수신 에너지 측정 수단에 동작가능하게 접속되어, 디지털 샘플들을 수신하고, 상기 동상 및 직교상 샘플들에 기초하여 상기 디지털 샘플들의 PN 역확산을 수행하여, 동상 PN 역확산 샘플들과 직교상 PN 역확산 샘플들을 생성하는 PN 역확산기를 더 구비하는, 무선 신호 수신 장치.
- 제 3 항에 있어서,상기 참조 버스트 칩 에너지 수단은,상기 슬롯 타이밍 제어기와 상기 PN 역확산기와 동작가능하게 접속되어, 타이밍 신호들에 의해 지시되는 참조 버스트 서브 슬롯 동안에 수신된 상기 동상 PN 역확산 샘플들을 누산하여, 누산된 동상 참조 에너지 총합을 생성하는 제 1 누산기;상기 슬롯 타이밍 제어기와 상기 PN 역확산기와 동작가능하게 접속되어, 상기 타이밍 신호들에 의해 지시되는 상기 참조 버스트 서브 슬롯 동안에 수신된 상기 직교상 PN 역확산 샘플들을 누산하여, 누산된 직교상 참조 에너지 총합을 생성하는 제 2 누산기; 및상기 제 1 및 제 2 누산기에 동작가능하게 접속되어, 상기 동상 참조 에너지 총합을 제곱하여 제곱 동상 참조 에너지 총합을 생성하고, 상기 직교상 참조 에너지 총합을 제곱하여 제곱 직교상 참조 에너지 총합을 생성하며, 상기 제곱 동상 참조 에너지 총합과 상기 제곱 직교상 참조 에너지 총합을 합산하여 상기 참조 버스트 칩 에너지를 생성하는 절대값 모듈을 구비하는, 무선 신호 수신 장치.
- 제 4 항에 있어서,상기 제 1 누산기는 추가적으로, 상기 누산된 동상 참조 에너지 총합을 소정의 샘플 갯수로 나누고,상기 제 2 누산기는 추가적으로, 상기 누산된 직교상 참조 에너지 총합을 소정의 샘플 갯수로 나누며,상기 소정의 샘플 갯수는 96 인, 무선 신호 수신 장치.
- 제 3 항에 있어서,상기 평균 수신 에너지 측정 수단은,상기 PN 역확산기에 동작가능하게 접속되어, 상기 동상 PN 역확산 샘플들 중 하나와 상기 직교상 PN 역확산 샘플들 중 하나로 구성된 역확산 샘플들의 각 쌍의 제곱 합을 계산하여, 제곱 합 샘플들의 스트림을 생성하는 절대값 모듈; 및상기 절대값 모듈과 상기 슬롯 타이밍 제어기에 동작가능하게 접속되어, 상기 참조 버스트 서브 슬롯 동안에 수신된 상기 제곱 합 샘플들을 누산하여 칩 당 상기 평균 수신 에너지를 생성하는 누산기를 구비하는, 무선 신호 수신 장치.
- 제 6 항에 있어서,상기 누산기는 추가적으로, 상기 서브 슬롯 동안에 수신되어 누산된 제곱 합 샘플들을 상기 서브 슬롯 각각에서 소정의 샘플 갯수로 나누는, 무선 신호 수신 장치.
