Claims (11)
- 탄화규소 분말, 유기 바인더, 및 뮬라이트 재질의 중공구를 포함하는 것으로 구성되어 있고, 상기 중공구는 소결 과정에서 탄화규소 입자들 간의 연결부위의 형성에 조력하고 소결체에 다공성 구조를 부여하는 작용을 하는 것을 특징으로 하는 탄화규소 소결용 페이스트 조성물.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 전체 조성물 중량을 기준으로, 상기 탄화규소 분말은 33 ~ 73 중량%, 상기 유기 바인더는 7 ~ 17 중량%, 상기 중공구는 10 ~ 50 중량%로 포함되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 탄화규소 소결용 페이스트 조성물.
- 제 2 항에 있어서, 상기 조성물에는 전체 중량을 기준으로 수분이 10 ~ 30 중량%로 포함되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 탄화규소 소결용 페이스트 조성물.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 중공구는 다수의 뮬라이트 침상체들이 5 내지 200 ㎛ 외경의 중공 구조를 이루고 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 탄화규소 소결용 페이스트 조성물.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 조성물에는 중공구의 용융 온도를 낮추기 위한 첨가제가 중공구 100 중량부를 기준으로 0.1 내지 8 중량부의 범위로 포함되어 있는 것 을 특징으로 하는 탄화규소 소결용 페이스트 조성물.
- 제 5 항에 있어서, 상기 첨가제는 Y2O3인 것을 특징으로 하는 탄화규소 소결용 페이스트 조성물.
- 제 1 항 내지 제 6 항 중 어느 하나에 따른 탄화규소 소결용 페이스트 조성물을 사각 허니컴 형태로 압출하고, 이를 건조 및 플러깅한 후, 산화 분위기에서 소결하여 다공성 탄화규소 필터를 제조하는 방법.
- 제 7 항에 있어서, 상기 소결은 Y2O3, Al2O3, SiO2, CaO, MgO를 첨가하여 1200 내지 1600℃에서 수행하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제 7 항에 있어서, 상기 소결은 공기 중에서 행하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제 7 항에 있어서, 상기 압출 성형물은 전체적으로 긴 육면체 구조(세그먼트)를 가지는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제 10 항에 따른 방법으로 제조된 다공성 탄화규소 세그먼트를 다수 개 접합 하여 제조된 하니컴 세라믹 필터.
