- 제 1 투명 기판과, 상기 제 1 투명 기판 상부에 형성된 어레이 소자부로 구성되는 제 1 기판과, 제 2 투명 기판과, 상기 제 2 투명 기판 하부에 형성된 컬러필터부로 구성되는 제 2 기판을 서로 합착하는 단계와;상기 제 2 투명 기판 바깥면에 다수의 볼록한 PR패턴을 형성하는 단계와;상기 다수의 PR패턴이 형성된 합착기판의 양 바깥면을 일정 두께 식각 처리하여, 상기 제 2 투명 기판의 바깥면에 상기 다수의 PR패턴과 대응되는 형태의 패턴을 가지는 확산층을 형성하는 단계를 포함하는 반사형 액정표시장치의 제조 방법.
- 제 7 항에 있어서,상기 제 1, 2 투명 기판을 이루는 재질은 유리 기판이며, 상기 확산층을 형성하는 단계에서는, 상기 다수의 PR패턴이 형성된 합착기판을 불산(HF)용액이 담긴 챔버내에 디핑(dipping)하는 단계와, 상기 다수의 PR패턴에 따라 제 1, 2 투명 기판의 바깥면을 일정 두께로 식각하는 단계를 더욱 포함하는 반사형 액정표시장치의 제조 방법.
- 제 7 항에 있어서,상기 확산층을 형성하는 단계에서, 상기 다수의 PR패턴에 대응하여 형성되는 확산층 패턴의 지름은 5 ㎛ ~ 20 ㎛이고, 높이는 지름의 5 % ~ 15 %로 형성하는 반사형 액정표시장치의 제조 방법.
- 제 7 항에 있어서,상기 제 1, 2 기판에는 적어도 두 개 이상의 셀로 구성되며, 상기 확산층을 형성하는 단계 다음에는, 셀 단위로 절단하는 공정, 액정 주입 및 봉지 공정을 더욱 포함하는 반사형 액정표시장치의 제조 방법.
- 제 7 항에 있어서,상기 확산층 패턴은 다수 개의 볼록부 패턴인 반사형 액정표시장치의 제조 방법.
- 제 7 항에 있어서,상기 제 1, 2 기판을 합착하는 단계는 제 1, 2 기판의 내부면에 각각 배향막을 형성하는 단계와, 상기 제 1, 2 기판 중 어느 한 기판에 씰패턴을 형성하는 단계를 더욱 포함하는 반사형 액정표시장치의 제조 방법.
