Description

Claims (21)
- 샘플을 에어로졸 형태로 수집하기 위한 수집 수단(30)(a);수집 수단의 내부 표면으로부터 샘플을 기계적으로 수집하기 위한 농축 수단(200, 230, 430)(b);농축된 샘플 중에 존재하는 성분을 광학적으로 표지하기 위한 마킹 수단(marking means)(1530, 1540)(c); 및표지된 성분을 광학적으로 인터로게이팅(interrogating)함으로써 샘플에 존재하는 성분의 농도를 측정하기 위한 것으로서, 광학적 지수감쇠적 검출기(50, 800, 810)를 포함하는 인터로게이팅 수단(interrogating means)(d)을 포함함을 특징으로 하는,샘플에 포함된 성분의 농도를 측정하기 위한, 생물학적 측정 시스템(system)(10).
- 제1항에 있어서, 농축 수단이, 샘플을 침적시켜 샘플을 공간적으로 농축시키는 표면을 스크래이핑(scraping)하기 위한 특징부를 포함하는, 생물학적 측정 시스템(10).
- 제2항에 있어서, 특징부가, 농축된 샘플이 광학적 인터로게이션(interrogation)되는 광학적 인터로게이션 영역상으로 공간적으로 농축된 샘플을 분포시키도록 탄성적으로 변형가능한, 생물학적 측정 시스템(10).
- 제1항에 있어서, 마킹 수단이 형광 마커(fluorescent marker)에 의해 성분의 존재를 광학적으로 마킹(marking)하기 위해 선택적 결합 에세이법(selective binding assay) 및 경쟁적 치환 에세이법(competitive displacement assay)을 포함하며; 상기 형광 마커는 선택적 에세이법 및 경쟁적 교체 에세이법에 이용하기 위한 항체에 결합되며; 형광 마커가 중간 매개체에 의해 항체에 결합된 형광 발색단(fluorophore)을 포함하여 다수의 형광 발색단이 각각의 항체와 결합되며; 중간 매개체가 라텍스(latex) 구 형태로 제공되는, 생물학적 측정 시스템(10).

- 제1항에 있어서, 지수감쇠적 검출기가,농축된 샘플을 인터로게이팅하기 위한 인터로게이션 방사선의 공급원으로서, 다이오드 레이저 및 LED를 포함하는 그룹 중에서 선택된 것(a); 및샘플의 광학적 인터로게이션에 감응하여 농축된 샘플로부터 방출되는 형광 방사선을 검출하기 위한 광학 검출기로서, 아발란셰 광 다이오드(avalanche photodiode; APD), 광 다이오드 어레이(photodiode array) 및 광전 증배관(photomultiplier tube)을 포함하는 그룹 중에서 선택된 것(b)을 포함하며, 이때 검출 신호를 생성하는 광학 검출기는 샘플 중의 성분의 존재로부터 기인한 샘플로부터의 형광 변화를 나타내는, 생물학적 측정 시스템(10).
- 제1항에 있어서, 수집 수단(200, 230)이 샘플을 봉입하도록 배치됨으로써 시스템의 사용시 사람이 샘플과 접촉하지 않도록 하는, 생물학적 측정 시스템(10).
- 제7항에 있어서, 수집 수단(200, 230)이 일회용 부품으로서 작업할 수 있는, 생물학적 측정 시스템(10).
- 제8항에 있어서, 수집 수단이 샘플 수집한 후에는 사용할 수 없는 특징부(1000)를 포함하는, 생물학적 측정 시스템(10).
- 제1항에 있어서, 수집 수단(230)이 수집 수단 내에 샘플을 침적시키기 위한 와동 향상 수단(610, 650)을 포함하는, 생물학적 측정 시스템(10).
- 제1항에 있어서, 수집 수단이, 수집 수단으로부터 샘플 성분의 전파를 부분적으로 억제하기 위한 여과 수단(105, 250)을 포함하는, 생물학적 측정 시스템(10).
- 제1항에 있어서, 마킹 수단이, 샘플에 존재하는 성분의 용균(lysis)을 유발하는 용균 수단(lysing means)을 포함함으로써, 유효한 광학 표지 부위의 개수를 증가시켜 측정 감도를 향상시키는, 생물학적 측정 시스템(10).
- 수집 수단에 객담, 점액 또는 이들 둘 모두의 샘플을 에어로졸 형태로 수집하는 단계(a);수집 수단의 내부 표면으로부터 샘플을 기계적으로 수집함으로써 농축 수단에서 샘플을 공간적으로 농축시키는 단계(b);샘플에 존재하는 병원체를 광학적으로 표지시키는 단계(c);병원체를 광학적으로 인터로게이팅하여 광학 감응을 수득하는 단계(d); 및샘플의 광학 감응으로부터, 병원체가 샘플에 존재하는지의 여부를 검출하는 단계(e)를 포함하며,단계(b), (c) 및 (d)에서, 병원체의 검출을 지수감쇠적 감쇠파 분광계를 이용하여 실시함을 특징으로 하여,제1항 내지 제4항 및 제6항 내지 제12항 중의 어느 한 항에 따르는 생물학적 측정 시스템을 사용하여 환자로부터 채취한 하나 이상의 객담, 점액 또는 이들 둘 모두의 샘플 중에서 병원체를 검출하는 방법.
- 삭제
- 제13항에 있어서, 폐렴 및 폐와 관련된 감염과 결부된 세균의 검출에 사용되는 방법.
- 제13항에 있어서,에스테르, 수증기, 염수 증기, 거담제 및 멘톨을 포함하는 그룹 중에서 선택된 화합물의 흡입을 이용하여 시험할 환자의 기관(trachea) 또는 상부 폐로부터 세균-함유 점액의 방출을 돕는 방법.
- 제13항에 있어서, 부분 네가티브 압력을 이용하여 샘플을 에어로졸 형태로 수득하는 방법.
- 제13항에 있어서, 샘플이 혈액 또는 기타 체액의 에어로졸 또는 액체 형태의 체액을 포함하는 방법.
- 제13항에 있어서, 샘플의 분석이,ELISA 색원체(chromogenic) 반응(a); 및샘플 중의 항원을 검출하기 위한 표면 음향파(SAW) 바이오센서(b)를 포함하는 그룹 중에서 선택된 것을 이용하여 실시되는 방법.
