Abstract
Description

Claims (11)
- 압축기(10)의 에어포일을 원위치에서 수리하기 위한 장치에 있어서,상기 압축기의 입구(11)에 장착되며, 축을 중심으로 원주방향으로 이동하는 매니퓰레이터(20)와,상기 매니퓰레이터에 대해 상대 이동하고 그리고 선택된 에어포일과 접촉하는 위치까지 상기 압축기의 입구내로 이동하도록 상기 매니퓰레이터에 의해 지지되는 공구(26)와,상기 선택된 에어포일과 접촉하도록 상기 공구를 구동하는 구동 시스템(36, 44, 54)과,상기 선택된 에어포일을 수리하기 위해, 상기 공구가 선택된 에어포일과 접촉하도록 위치시키기 위해 상기 구동 시스템을 제어하는 시스템(120)을 포함하는압축기의 에어포일을 원위치에서 수리하기 위한 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 구동 시스템은 상기 공구를 구동하여 상기 선택된 에어포일과 접촉시키기 위해 리드 스크류(34, 42, 52)에 결합된 서보 모터(36, 44, 54)를 포함하는압축기의 에어포일을 원위치에서 수리하기 위한 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 선택된 에어포일에 대한 상기 공구의 위치를 측정 및 기록하기 위한 시 스템(192)을 포함하며, 상기 제어 시스템은 측정 및 기록 시스템에 응답하여 상기 공구를 상기 선택된 에어포일과 접촉하도록 위치시키는압축기의 에어포일을 원위치에서 수리하기 위한 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 공구는 연마재(72)를 지지하고 상기 매니퓰레이터에 의해 피봇 지지되는 피봇부(74)와, 상기 연마재가 실질적으로 일정한 힘으로 상기 에어포일에 대해 접촉하도록 상기 섹션을 바이어스하기 위한 스프링(95)을 포함하는압축기의 에어포일을 원위치에서 수리하기 위한 장치.
- 제 4 항에 있어서,상기 공구는 무단 연마 벨트(72)와, 상기 무단 연마 벨트를 구동하기 위한 구동 모터(86)를 포함하는압축기의 에어포일을 원위치에서 수리하기 위한 장치.
- 제 5 항에 있어서,상기 공구는 고정부(76)를 구비하고, 상기 피봇부(74)는 상기 고정부에 피봇되며, 상기 무단 연마 벨트는 상기 피봇부가 상기 무단 연마 벨트의 종방향 연장부 중간의 피봇 축을 중심으로 피봇하도록 상기 고정부 및 상기 피봇부에 의해 지지되는압축기의 에어포일을 원위치에서 수리하기 위한 장치.
- 제 6 항에 있어서,상기 중간의 피봇 축을 중심으로 상기 피봇부를 회전시키기 위해 상기 고정부에 의해 지지되는 모터(100)를 포함하는압축기의 에어포일을 원위치에서 수리하기 위한 장치.
- 제 6 항에 있어서,상기 고정부(76)는 상기 벨트와 결합하는 구동 휠(84)을 포함하며, 상기 피봇부는 서로 이격된 한 쌍의 아이들러 휠(78, 80)을 구비하며, 상기 아이들러 휠(80)중 하나는 상기 피봇부에 의해 상기 고정부와 멀리 떨어진 상기 피봇부의 단부에 인접하여 지지되며, 다른 하나의 아이들러 휠(78)은 상기 피봇 축과 일치하여 상기 피봇부의 대향 단부에 인접하여 지지되는압축기의 에어포일을 원위치에서 수리하기 위한 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 공구는 상기 선택된 에어포일의 표면을 쇼트 피닝(shot peening)하기 위한 장치(140, 160)를 포함하는압축기의 에어포일을 원위치에서 수리하기 위한 장치.
- 제 9 항에 있어서,상기 쇼트 피닝 장치는 가요성 매트릭스(161)내에 쇼트를 포함하는 플랩퍼(160)와, 상기 선택된 에어포일의 표면을 쇼트 피닝하기 위해 축을 중심으로 상기 플랩퍼를 회전시키기 위해 상기 매니퓰레이터에 의해 지지되는 구동부(188)를 포함하는압축기의 에어포일을 원위치에서 수리하기 위한 장치.
- 제 9 항에 있어서,상기 쇼트 피닝 장치는 자유 강철 쇼트를 추진하여 상기 선택된 에어포일의 표면에 충돌시켜 상기 표면을 강화하기 위한 건 배럴(gun barrel)(141)을 포함하는압축기의 에어포일을 원위치에서 수리하기 위한 장치.
