Claims (4)
- 투명 전극을 갖는 제1기판과, 반사 기능을 갖는 영역과 투과 기능을 갖는 영역이 형성된 반투과 반사성 전극을 갖는 제2기판과, 제1기판과 제2기판 사이에 끼워져 있는 호모지니어스 배향한 액정층과, 제1기판의 액정층과 접한 면과 반대의 면상에 설치된 제1광학 이방 소자, 제1광학 이방 소자 상에 설치된 한 장의 편광판과, 제2기판의 액정층과 접한 면과 반대의 면상에 설치된 제2광학 이방 소자, 제2광학 이방 소자의 하면에 설치된 한 장의 편광판을 구비한 반투과 반사형 액정표시장치로서,그 제2광학 이방 소자가, 광학적으로 정의 1축성을 나타내는 액정성 고분자 물질이 액정 상태에서 형성한 네마틱 하이브리드 배향을 고정하여 얻어진 적어도 한 장의 액정 필름을 포함하며,액정 필름 자신의 상하 2면 중, 그 액정 필름 계면의 액정성 고분자 물질의 디렉터와 그 액정 필름 평면과의 이루는 각도가 작은 면으로의 그 액정성 고분자 물질의 디렉터의 투영 성분의 방향으로서 정의된 그 액정 필름의 틸트 방향과, 제1기판측의 액정셀 계면으로의 셀 계면 액정 분자의 디렉터의 투영 성분의 방향으로서 정의된 프리틸트 방향이 이루는 각도가 0°내지 30°의 범위에 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 반투과 반사형 액정표시장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제2광학 이방 소자가, 광학적으로 정의 1축성을 나타내는 액정성 고분자 물질이 액정 상태에서 형성한 네마틱 하이브리드 배향을 고정하여 얻어진 적어도 한 장의 액정 필름과, 적어도 한 장의 고분자 연신 필름을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 반투과 반사형 액정표시장치.
- 삭제
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 반사 기능을 갖는 영역의 액정층 두께가, 상기 투과 기능을 갖는 영역의 액정층 두께보다 작은 것을 특징으로 하는 반투과 반사형 액정표시장치.
