Abstract

A method for preparing a functional coating solution for building interior materials is provided to produce the functional coating solution capable of decomposing harmful materials and removing a bad smell, and improve productivity of the interior materials. A method for preparing a functional coating solution for building interior materials includes the steps of: adding water to 30% of an adhesive coagulant, 10% of a white birch extract, 10% of a flame-proofing agent, 30% of loess powder, and 20% of zeolite; and stirring the mixture to obtain the functional coating solution. The adhesive coagulant is obtained by mixing seaweeds with glue in a ratio of 8:2 or 9:1, and heating and liquefying the mixture at 150-300 °C.
