Claims (15)
- 직교 진폭 변조(QAM: Quadrature Amplitude Modulation) 콘스텔레이션(constellation)으로 표현된 페이저 점(phasor point)을 보유하는 QAM 방식으로 변조된 비트스트림을 수신하는 수신기로서, 상기 수신기(130)는:디코딩된 비트스트림을 생성하기 위해서, 상기 QAM 방식으로 변조된 비트스트림의 제 1 계층 레벨을 직교 위상 편이 변조(QPSK) 콘스텔레이션에 대하여 디코딩하기 위한 제 1 디코더(146)로서, QAM 콘스텔레이션 서브세트 영역을 한정하는 제 1 디코더(146)와,상기 제 1 디코더에 연결되어 있는 제 2 디코더(170)로서, 상기 제 1 디코더에 의해 한정된 상기 QAM 콘스텔레이션의 서브세트 영역 내에서 상기 QAM 방식으로 변조된 비트스트림의 제 2 계층 레벨을 QPSK 콘스텔레이션에 대하여 디코딩하기 위한 제 2 디코더(170)를 포함하고,상기 수신기(130)는 상기 제 1 디코더(146) 및 상기 제 2 디코더(170)를 통하여 상기 수신된 비트스트림을 순차적으로 디코딩하며, 상기 제 1 디코더(146)와 상기 제 2 디코더(170)는 콘볼루션 디코더(convolutional decoders)인,QAM 방식으로 변조된 비트스트림을 수신하는 수신기.
- 제 1항에 있어서, 상기 제 2 디코더에 연결되어 있고 지연을 적용하기 위한 지연부(150), 및 상기 제 1 디코더에 연결되어 있고 상기 제 1 디코더에 의해 한정된 상기 서브세트 영역에 관한 정보를 생성하기 위한 리인코더(reencoder)(160)를 더 포함하는, QAM 방식으로 변조된 비트스트림을 수신하는 수신기.
