Claims (18)
- 다른 색의 광을 발광하는 복수개의 유기 일렉트로루미네선스 소자를 구비하고, 상기 유기 일렉트로루미네선스 소자가 각각 적어도,기판에 가까운 쪽에 배치된 반사전극인 제 1전극과,상기 제 1전극과는 반대쪽에 배치된 투명전극인 제 2전극과,상기 제 1전극과 제 2전극과의 사이에 배치된 유기화합물층을 지니는 다색발광소자에 있어서,상기 유기 일렉트로루미네선스 소자중, 장파장을 지닌 색의 광을 발광하는 적어도 하나의 유기 일렉트로루미네선스 소자의 발광영역이, 단파장을 지닌 색의 광을 발광하는 적어도 또 다른 유기 일렉트로루미네선스 소자의 발광영역의 위치보다도 상기 제 1전극으로부터 먼 위치에 위치되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 다색발광소자.
- 제 1항에 있어서, 상기 유기화합물층은, 적어도 제 1전하전송층과 제 2전하전송층사이에 발광층이 끼여 있는 적층구조를 지니고, 상기 제 1전하전송층은, 상기 제 2전하전송층보다도 기판에 가까운 쪽에 위치되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 다색발광소자.
- 제 2항에 있어서,상기 반사전극인 제1전극은 양극이고;상기 장파장을 지닌 색의 광을 발광하는 하나의 유기 일렉트로루미네선스 소자의 발광층은, 정공을 우선적으로 전송하는 특성을 지니고;상기 단파장을 지닌 색의 광을 발광하는 또 다른 유기 일렉트로루미네선스 소자의 발광층은, 전자를 우선적으로 전송하는 특성을 지니고;상기 제 1전하전송층은 정공을 우선적으로 전송하는 정공전송층이고;상기 제 2전하전송층은 전자를 우선적으로 전송하는 전자전송층인 것을 특징으로 하는 다색발광소자.
- 제 2항에 있어서, 상기 발광층의 두께가 10 내지 35㎚의 범위에 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 다색발광소자.
- 제 2항에 있어서, 상기 제 1전하전송층의 재료 및 두께가, 모든 유기 일렉트로루미네선스 소자에 있어서 동일한 것을 특징으로 하는 다색발광소자.
- 제 1항에 있어서, 상기 하나의 유기 일렉트로루미네선스 소자가, 적색의 광을 발광하는 유기 일렉트로루미네선스 소자인 것을 특징으로 하는 다색발광소자.
- 제 1항에 있어서, 상기 복수개의 유기 일렉트로루미네선스 소자가, 각각 적색, 녹색 및 청색의 광을 발광하는 적어도 3개의 유기 일렉트로루미네선스 소자인 것을 특징으로 하는 다색발광소자.
- 제 1항에 의한 다색발광소자를 지닌 디스플레이.
