Claims (8)
- 일정한 파장을 가지는 광을 방출하며 상호 이격되어 있는 복수개의 발광 다이오드와;상기 발광 다이오드 상부에 형성되며 상기 발광 다이오드에서 방출되어 입사된 빛 중 우원 편광 또는 좌원 편광의 빛을 반사시키는 원형 편광 필름과;상기 복수개의 발광 다이오드들 사이의 영역에 형성되며 상기 원형 편광 필름에서 반사된 빛을 다시 원형 편광 필름으로 재반사시키는 반사판과;상기 원형 편광 필름 상부에 형성되며, 상기 원형 편광 필름을 통과한 빛을 선형 편광의 빛으로 바꾸어주는 복굴절 필름과;상기 복굴절 필름 상부에 형성되며, 상기 복굴절 필름을 통과한 빛을 균일하게 확산시켜 주는 확산판을 포함하여 이루어지는 액정 표시 장치용 백 라이트 유닛.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 원형 편광 필름 및 복굴절 필름과 상기 확산판은 상호 이격되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치용 백 라이트 유닛.
- 일정한 파장을 가지는 광을 방출하며 상호 이격되어 있는 복수개의 발광 다이오드와;상기 복수개의 발광 다이오드들 사이의 영역에 형성되는 반사판과;상기 반사판 상부에 상기 복수개의 발광 다이오드들 각각을 감싸며 돔(Dome) 형상으로 형성되고, 상기 발광 다이오드에서 방출되어 입사된 빛 중 우원 편광 또는 좌원 편광의 빛을 반사시키는 원형 편광 필름과;상기 원형 편광 필름 상부에 형성되며, 상기 원형 편광 필름을 통과한 빛을 선형 편광의 빛으로 바꾸어주는 복굴절 필름과;상기 복굴절 필름 상부에 상기 복굴절 필름과 상호 이격하여 형성되고, 상기 복굴절 필름을 통과한 빛을 균일하게 확산시켜 주는 확산판을 포함하여 이루어지는 액정 표시 장치용 백 라이트 유닛.
- 서브 마운트 기판 상부에 일정한 파장을 가지는 광을 방출하는 발광 다이오드가 접합되어 있고, 상기 발광 다이오드를 상기 서브 마운트 기판과 전기적으로 연결하는 본딩 와이어가 상기 발광 다이오드에 형성되어 있고, 상기 발광 다이오드에서 방출하는 광의 광 분포도를 조절하는 렌즈가 상기 발광 다이오드를 감싸며 서브 마운트 기판 상에 형성되어 있고, 상기 렌즈 상부에 상기 발광 다이오드에서 방출되어 입사된 빛 중 우원 편광 또는 좌원 편광의 빛을 반사시키는 원형 편광 필름이 형성되어 있고, 상기 원형 편광 필름에서 반사된 빛을 상기 원형 편광 필름으로 재반사시키는 반사판이 상기 서브 마운트 기판 상부의 발광 다이오드가 접합된 영역을 제외한 영역에 형성되어 있고, 상기 원형 편광 필름 상부에 형성되며 상기 원형 편광 필름을 투과한 빛을 선형 편광의 빛으로 바꾸어주는 복굴절 필름으로 구성되며 상호 이격되어 있는 복수개의 발광 다이오드 패키지와;상기 복수개의 발광 다이오드 패키지 상부에 상호 이격하여 형성되며, 상기 발광 다이오드 패키지에서 방출한 빛을 균일하게 확산시켜 주는 확산판을 포함하여 이루어지는 액정 표시 장치용 백 라이트 유닛.
- 제1항 내지 제4항 중 어느 하나의 항에 있어서, 상기 확산판 상부에 상기 확산판을 통과한 빛을 굴절 및 집광시켜 주는 프리즘 쉬트가 더 형성된 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치용 백 라이트 유닛.
- 제1항 내지 제4항 중 어느 하나의 항에 있어서, 상기 확산판은 투과하는 빛의 편광성이 보전되는 홀로그램 디퓨저(Hologram Diffuser) 또는 그레이디드 인덱스(Graded Index) 확산판인 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치용 백 라이트 유닛.
- 제1항 내지 제4항 중 어느 하나의 항에 있어서, 상기 원형 편광 필름은 CLC(Choloesteric Liquid Crystal) 필름으로 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치용 백 라이트 유닛.
- 제1항 내지 제4항 중 어느 하나의 항에 있어서, 상기 복굴절 필름은 투과되는 빛이 λ/4의 위상 지연값을 가지도록 하는 λ/4 복굴절 필름인 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치용 백 라이트 유닛.
