Claims (15)
- 화소 회로의 구동 방법에 있어서,데이터 전류를 가변으로 생성하는 가변 전류원과 제1 트랜지스터가 전기적으로 분리되어 있는 상태에서, 다이오드 접속된 상기 제1 트랜지스터의 게이트 전압을 상기 제1 트랜지스터의 임계 전압에 따른 오프셋 전압으로 설정하는 제1 단계와,상기 가변 전류원과 상기 제1 트랜지스터가 전기적으로 접속되어 있는 상태에서, 상기 오프셋 전압을 기준으로 설정되는 데이터로서, 또한 상기 가변 전류원으로부터 데이터선을 거쳐 공급된 상기 데이터 전류와 해당 데이터 전류의 공급 시간의 곱에 따른 데이터를, 상기 다이오드 접속된 상기 제1 트랜지스터의 게이트에 접속된 커패시터에 기입하는 제2 단계와,상기 커패시터에 게이트가 접속된 제2 트랜지스터에 의해, 상기 커패시터에 보유된 상기 데이터에 따른 구동 전류를 생성함으로써, 전기 광학 소자의 휘도를 설정하는 제3 단계를 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 화소 회로의 구동 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 제1 트랜지스터는 상기 제2 트랜지스터와 동일한 하나의 트랜지스터인 것을 특징으로 하는 화소 회로의 구동 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 제1 트랜지스터 및 상기 제2 트랜지스터는 커런트 미러(current mirror) 회로를 구성하는 한 쌍의 다른 트랜지스터인 것을 특징으로 하는 화소 회로의 구동 방법.
- 제1항 내지 제3항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,상기 제1 단계는 상기 가변 전류원과 상기 데이터선 사이에 설치된 스위칭 소자를 오프(OFF)하는 단계를 포함하고,상기 제2 단계는 상기 스위칭 소자를 온(On)하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 화소 회로의 구동 방법.
- 제1항 내지 제3항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,상기 데이터선과 용량 결합한 단자의 전압을 가변으로 제어함으로써, 상기 제1 단계에서 설정된 상기 오프셋 전압을 조정하는 제4 단계를 더 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 화소 회로의 구동 방법.
- 제5항에 있어서,상기 제4 단계에서의 상기 오프셋 전압의 변화량이 표시해야 할 계조에 따라 설정되는 것을 특징으로 하는 화소 회로의 구동 방법.
- 제1항 내지 제3항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,상기 제1 단계에서의 상기 오프셋 전압의 설정에 앞서, 상기 제1 트랜지스터를 온 시키는 전압 레벨을 갖는 소정의 전압을 상기 데이터선에 공급하는 제5 단계를 더 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 화소 회로의 구동 방법.
- 화소 회로에 있어서,정상적 또는 스위칭 트랜지스터의 도통 제어에 의해 선택적으로 다이오드 접속되는 동시에, 데이터선을 거쳐 가변 전류원으로부터 제공된 데이터 전류에 따라 데이터를 생성하는 제1 트랜지스터와,상기 제1 트랜지스터의 게이트에 접속되어 있는 동시에, 상기 제1 트랜지스터에 의해 생성된 상기 데이터가 기입되는 커패시터와,상기 커패시터에 게이트가 접속되어 있는 동시에, 상기 커패시터에 보유된 상기 데이터에 따라 구동 전류를 생성하는 제2 트랜지스터와,상기 제2 트랜지스터에 의해 생성된 상기 구동 전류에 따라 휘도가 설정되는 전기 광학 소자를 갖고,상기 제1 트랜지스터는,상기 가변 전류원으로부터 전기적으로 분리되어 있는 상태에서, 자기의 게이트 전압을 자기의 임계 전압에 따른 오프셋 전압으로 설정함과 동시에,상기 가변 전류원에 전기적으로 접속되어 있는 상태에서, 상기 오프셋 전압을 기준으로 설정되는 데이터로서, 또한 상기 가변 전류원으로부터 데이터선을 거쳐 공급된 상기 데이터 전류와 해당 데이터 전류의 공급 시간의 곱에 따른 데이터를 상기 커패시터에 기입하는 것을 특징으로 하는 화소 회로.
- 제8항에 있어서,상기 제1 트랜지스터는 상기 제2 트랜지스터와 동일한 하나의 트랜지스터인 것을 특징으로 하는 화소 회로.
- 제8항에 있어서,상기 제1 트랜지스터 및 상기 제2 트랜지스터는 커런트 미러 회로를 구성하는 한 쌍의 다른 트랜지스터인 것을 특징으로 하는 화소 회로.
- 제8항 내지 제10항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,상기 게이트 전압을 상기 오프셋 전압으로 설정하는 기간에서, 상기 가변 전류원과 상기 데이터선 사이를 전기적으로 분리함과 동시에, 상기 커패시터에 데이터를 기입하는 기간에서, 상기 가변 전류원과 상기 데이터선 사이를 전기적으로 접속하는 스위칭 회로를 더 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 화소 회로.
- 제8항 내지 제10항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,상기 데이터선과 용량 결합한 단자의 전압을 가변으로 제어함으로써, 상기 오프셋 전압을 조정하는 프리챠지 조정 회로를 더 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 화소 회로.
- 제12항에 있어서,상기 프리챠지 조정 회로는 표시해야 할 계조에 따라 상기 오프셋 전압의 변화량을 제어하는 것을 특징으로 하는 화소 회로.
- 제8항 내지 제10항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,상기 게이트 전압을 상기 오프셋 전압으로 설정하는 기간에 앞서, 상기 제1 트랜지스터를 온 시키는 전압 레벨을 가지는 소정의 전압을 상기 데이터선에 공급하는 프리챠지 촉진 회로를 더 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 화소 회로.
- 제8항에 기재된 화소 회로에 의해 구성된 전기 광학 장치를 실장한 것을 특징으로 하는 전자 기기.
