Abstract

본 발명은 호출 센터들 또는 텔레마케팅 시스템들로 불리는 자동 호출 분배(automatic call distribution;ACD) 시스템에 관한 것이다.
ACD 시스템들은 -입력되거나 또는 출력되는- 처리하기 위한 호출들을 몇몇 미리 정해진 기준들에 따라 사용가능한 호출-처리 에이전트들 중 임의의 알맞은 에이전트들로 분배한다. - 제 1 항에 있어서:모든 스킬들을 결정하는 상기 단계는,상기 각 결정된 처리자에 대해서, 상기 결정된 처리자의 모든 스킬들을 결정하는 단계를 포함하며;오직 하나의 이용가능한 처리자가 상기 결정된 스킬을 가지고 있는지 여부를 결정하는 상기 단계는,상기 각 결정된 처리자의 각 결정된 스킬에 대해서, 상기 결정된 처리자가 상기 결정된 스킬을 가지고 있는 오직 하나의 이용가능한 처리자인지 여부를 결정하는 단계를 포함하는, 처리자 선택 방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 방법은 각각 상이한 스킬에 대응하며, 각각 상기 대응하는 스킬을 갖는 이용가능한 처리자들을 식별하는 복수의 큐(queue)들을 갖는 장치에서 수행되고,오직 하나의 이용가능한 처리자가 상기 결정된 스킬을 가지고 있는지 여부를 결정하는 상기 단계는,오직 하나의 처리자를 식별하는 상기 결정된 스킬들 중 임의의 스킬에 대응하는 큐들을 결정하는 단계를 포함하며;상기 선택 단계는,상기 결정된 큐들 중 가장 적은 큐에 의해 식별되는 처리자를 결정된 처리자로 선택하는 단계를 포함하는, 처리자 선택 방법.
- 제 3 항에 있어서:상기 복수의 처리자들은 호출 센터 에이전트들을 포함하는, 처리자 선택 방법.

- 스킬을 필요로 하는 통신을 처리하기 위해 상기 스킬을 가지고 있는 처리자를 선택하는 장치에 있어서:복수의 처리자들 중 어느 처리자들이 상기 통신을 처리하기 위해 이용가능하며(이용 가능한 처리자), 적어도 상기 통신이 요구하는 상기 스킬을 가지고 있는지를 결정하는(결정된 처리자) 제 1 이펙터와;상기 제 1 이펙터와 협력하여, 상기 결정된 처리자들이 가지고 있는 모든 스킬들(결정된 스킬들)을 결정하는 제 2 이펙터와;상기 제 2 이펙터와 협력하여, 각 결정된 스킬에 대해, 상기 복수의 처리자들 중 오직 하나의 이용가능한 처리자가 상기 결정된 스킬을 가지고 있는지 여부를 결정하는 제 3 이펙터와;상기 제 3 이펙터와 협력하여, 상기 결정된 스킬들 중 가장 적은 스킬에 대해서, 상기 결정된 스킬을 갖는 오직 하나의 이용가능한 처리자를 상기 통신을 처리하기 위하여 결정된 처리자로 선택하는 제 4 이펙터를 포함하는, 처리자 선택 장치.
- 제 8항에 있어서,모든 스킬들을 결정하는 상기 이펙터는 상기 각 결정된 처리자의 모든 스킬을 결정하도록 되어 있으며,오직 하나의 이용 가능한 처리자만이 상기 결정된 스킬을 갖는지 여부를 결정하는 상기 이펙터는 상기 각 결정된 처리자의 각 결정된 스킬에 대하여 상기 결정된 처리자가 상기 결정된 스킬을 갖는 오직 하나의 처리자인지 여부를 결정하도록 되어 있는, 처리자 선택 장치.
- 제 8항에 있어서,각각 상이한 스킬에 대응하며 각각 상기 대응하는 스킬을 갖는 이용 가능한 처리자들을 식별하는 복수의 큐를 더 포함하며,오직 하나의 이용 가능한 처리자만이 상기 결정된 스킬을 갖는지 여부를 결정하는 상기 이펙터는 오직 하나의 처리자를 식별하는 상기 결정된 스킬들 중에서 임의의 스킬에 대응하는 큐를 결정하도록 되어 있고,상기 선택 이펙터는 가장 적은 수의 상기 결정된 큐에 의해 식별되는 처리자를 결정된 처리자로 선택하도록 되어 있는, 처리자 선택 장치.
