- 서로 대향된 전면 기판과 배면 기판 사이에 복수개의 화소들이 구비된 평판 표시 패널을 준비하는 단계;상기 평판 표시 패널에 브래킷을 부착하는 단계;상기 평판 표시 패널의 측면 및 가장자리와, 상기 브래킷 사이에 제 1 실런트를 도포하는 단계;상기 브래킷의 가장자리가 상기 평판 표시 패널의 측면 및 가장자리를 감싸도록 프레스 가공을 하는 단계; 및상기 평판 표시 패널의 측면 및 가장자리와 상기 브래킷 사이에 도포된 실런트를 경화시키는 단계;를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 평판 표시 장치의 제조방법.
- 제 9항에 있어서,상기 평판 표시 패널을 준비하는 단계와 상기 평판 표시 패널에 브래킷을 부착하는 단계 사이에, 상기 평판 표시 패널의 측면에 제 2 실런트를 도포하고 경화시키는 단계를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 평판 표시 장치의 제조방법.
- 제 9항 또는 제 10항에 있어서,상기 제 2 실런트는 UV 실런트 또는 써멀 타입 실런트(thermal type sealant)인 것을 특징으로 하는 평판 표시 장치의 제조방법.
- 배면 기판;상기 배면 기판에 대향되는 전면 기판; 및상기 배면 기판의 상기 전면 기판을 향한 면 상에 구비되는 복수개의 화소들;을 포함하고,상기 배면 기판과 상기 전면 기판 중 어느 한 기판의 가장자리가 타 기판의 가장자리를 감싸도록 형성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 평판 표시 장치.
- 제 12항에 있어서,상기 배면 기판과 상기 전면 기판 중 타 기판의 가장자리를 감싸는 기판의 가장자리와 상기 타 기판의 가장자리 사이에 실런트가 구비되는 것을 특징으로 하는 평판 표시 장치.
- 제 13항에 있어서,상기 실런트는 UV 실런트 또는 써멀 타입 실런트(thermal type sealant)인 것을 특징으로 하는 평판 표시 장치.
- 제 13항에 있어서,상기 실런트가 구비되는 영역은 비화소영역인 것을 특징으로 하는 평판 표시 장치.
- 제 12항 내지 제 15항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,상기 화소들은 전계발광 소자들로 구비되는 것을 특징으로 하는 평판 표시 장치.
