Description
Claims (25)
- 핸드 헬드(hand held) 입력 장치에 있어서,몸체와,상기 몸체 상에서 기판 -상기 몸체는 상기 기판에 대하여 대향하도록 배치될 수 있음- 상으로 광을 지향시키도록 방향지워진 적어도 하나의 레이저와,적어도 하나의 기준 빔을 반사하고, 상기 기판으로부터의 적어도 하나의 반사 빔을 통과시키는 적어도 하나의 회절 격자(diffraction grating)와,상기 반사 빔과 상기 기준 빔의 조합에 의해 생성되는 광의 간섭 패턴을 수신하는 적어도 하나의 이동 검출기와,상기 기판으로부터 바코드 빔을 수신하는 적어도 하나의 바코드 검출기와,상기 검출기들로부터 신호를 수신하는 프로세서를포함하는 핸드 헬드 입력 장치
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 프로세서는 상기 장치의 위치를 나타내는 위치 신호를 출력하도록 프로그래밍되는핸드 헬드 입력 장치.
- 제 1 항 또는 제 2 항에 있어서,상기 몸체에 의해 지지되는 적어도 하나의 힘 센서 -상기 힘 센서는 상기 장치에 인가되는 다방면으로부터의 힘을 나타내는 신호를 출력함- 를 더 포함하는핸드 헬드 입력 장치.
- 제 1 항 또는 제 2 항에 있어서,상기 몸체에 의해 지지되며 상기 프로세서로부터의 위치 신호를 저장하는 디지털 메모리를 더 포함하고, 상기 위치 신호는 상기 메모리로부터 검색되고 호스트 프로세서에 의해 처리될 수 있는핸드 헬드 입력 장치.
- 제 4 항에 있어서,상기 기판은 상기 호스트 프로세서에 알려져 있는 광학 코드 -상기 광학 코드는 적어도 위치를 나타냄- 를 포함하고, 상기 바코드 검출기는 광학 코드를 검출하는 것에 응답하여 적어도 하나의 코드 신호를 출력하는핸드 헬드 입력 장치.
- 제 5 항에 있어서,상기 호스트 프로세서는 상기 바코드 검출기에 의해 생성되는 데이터와 상기 적어도 하나의 이동 검출기에 의해 생성되는 데이터를 결합하여 절대적 장치 위치를 획득하는핸드 헬드 입력 장치.
- 제 6 항에 있어서,상기 호스트 프로세서는 상기 힘 센서로부터의 데이터를 추가적으로 사용하여 장치 회전을 보정하는핸드 헬드 입력 장치.
- 제 4 항에 있어서,상기 기판은 상기 호스트 프로세서에 알려져 있는 광학 코드를 포함하지 않고, 상기 호스트 프로세서는 상기 힘 센서에 의해 생성되는 데이터와 상기 적어도 하나의 이동 검출기에 의해 생성되는 데이터를 결합하여 상대적 장치 위치를 획득하는핸드 헬드 입력 장치.
- 제 1 항 또는 제 2 항에 있어서,상기 바코드 검출기로부터의 상기 신호에 대한 스페클(speckle) 기여를 제거하기 위한 필터링 구조를 포함하는 필터 회로를 더 포함하는핸드 헬드 입력 장치.
- 디지털 펜으로부터 바코드 검출기 데이터, 힘 센서 데이터 및 이동 검출기 데이터를 수신하기 위한 호스트 프로세서에 있어서,알려진 바코드가 상기 펜에 의해 감지되었는지를 판정하기 위한 로직 수단과,알려진 바코드가 상기 펜에 의해 감지되었다면, 상기 바코드 검출기 데이터와 상기 힘 센서 데이터 및 이동 검출기 데이터를 결합하여 펜 회전에 대해 보정되는 절대적 펜 위치를 획득하는 로직 수단과,알려진 바코드가 상기 펜에 의해 감지되지 않았다면, 힘 센서 데이터와 이동 검출기 데이터를 결합하여 펜 회전에 대해 보정되는 상대적 펜 위치를 획득하는 로직 수단을 포함하는호스트 프로세서.
- 제 10 항에 있어서,바코드 검출기 데이터를 상기 힘 센서 데이터 및 이동 검출기 데이터와 시간적으로 매칭하기 위한 로직 수단을 더 포함하는호스트 프로세서.
