Claims (12)
- 다른 양의 잉크를 토출하기 위해 저항치가 다른 히터 저항을 갖는 잉크 제트 인쇄 헤드로부터 인쇄 매체에 잉크를 토출하여 인쇄를 행하는 인쇄 장치이며,인쇄 데이터를 입력하기 위한 입력 수단과,상기 입력 수단에 의해 입력된 인쇄 데이터에 기초하여, 상기 저항치별로 대응되는 히터 저항마다 동시 구동되는 히터 저항의 개수를 카운팅하는 카운트 수단과,상기 카운트 수단에 의한 카운팅 결과에 기초하여, 상기 저항치별로 대응되는 히터 저항마다 동시 구동되는 상기 히터 저항에 대해 인가되는 구동 펄스를 결정하는 결정 수단과,상기 결정 수단에 의해 결정된 구동 펄스를 동시 구동되는 상기 히터 저항에 대해 인가하여 인쇄를 수행하는 인쇄 수단을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 인쇄 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 복수의 히터 저항은 복수의 블록으로 분할되고,상기 인쇄 수단은 블록 유닛 내에서 상기 복수의 히터 저항을 시분할 구동하는 시분할 구동 수단을 갖고,상기 카운트 수단은 블록 유닛 내에서 동시 구동되는 히터 저항의 개수를 카운팅하는 것을 특징으로 하는 인쇄 장치.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 카운트 수단은,상기 블록 유닛 내에서 제1 양의 잉크를 토출하기 위해 대응되는 제1 그룹의 히터 저항들 중에서, 동시 구동되는 히터 저항의 개수를 카운팅하는 제1 카운터와,제2 양의 잉크를 토출하기 위해 대응되는 제2 그룹의 히터 저항들 중, 동시 구동되는 히터 저항의 개수를 카운팅하는 제2 카운터를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 인쇄 장치.
- 제3항에 있어서, 상기 결정 수단은 상기 제1 카운터에 의한 카운팅 결과 및 상기 제2 카운터에 의한 카운팅 결과에 기초하여, 제1 그룹의 히터 저항 및 제2 그룹의 히터 저항에 각각 인가되는 이중 펄스의 파형을 결정하는 것을 특징으로 하는 인쇄 장치.
- 제4항에 있어서, 이중 펄스의 파형은 주 펄스 폭을 결정함으로써 결정되는 것을 특징으로 하는 인쇄 장치.
- 제4항에 있어서, 상기 결정 수단은,제1 그룹의 히터 저항에 인가되는 이중 펄스의 파형을 결정하기 위하여, 상기 제1 카운터에 의한 카운팅 결과 및 상기 제2 카운터에 의해 카운팅 결과를 가중하기 위한 제1 가중 수단과,제2 그룹의 히터 저항에 인가되는 이중 펄스의 파형을 결정하기 위하여, 상기 제1 카운터의 카운팅 결과 및 상기 제2 카운터의 카운팅 결과를 가중하기 위한 제2 가중 수단을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 인쇄 장치.
- 제6항에 있어서, 상기 제1 및 제2 가중 수단에 의한 가중은 제2 그룹의 히터 저항치에 대한 제1 그룹의 히터 저항치의 비에 따라 수행되는 것을 특징으로 하는 인쇄 장치.
- 제6항에 있어서, 복수의 주 펄스 폭을 저장하기 위한 저장 수단을 더 포함하고,상기 결정 수단은 제1 그룹의 인쇄 요소에 인가되는 주 펄스 폭을 결정하기 위하여 상기 제1 가중 수단에 의한 가중 결과에 기초하여 상기 저장 수단에 접근하고, 상기 제2 가중 수단에 의한 가중 결과에 기초하여 상기 저장 수단에 접근하여 상기 제2 그룹의 히터 저항에 인가되는 주 펄스 폭을 결정하는 것을 특징으로 하는 인쇄 장치.
- 제8항에 있어서, 상기 제1 및 제2 가중 수단에 의한 가중은 제2 그룹의 히터 저항치에 대한 제1 그룹의 히터 저항치의 비에 따라 수행되는 것을 특징으로 하는 인쇄 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 잉크 제트 인쇄 헤드는 제1 크기의 잉크 액적을 토출시키는 제1형 노즐 및 제2 크기의 잉크 액적을 토출시키는 제2형 노즐이 교대로 배열되어 있는 노즐 어레이를 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 인쇄 장치.

- 다른 양의 잉크를 토출하기 위해 저항치가 다른 히터 저항을 갖는 잉크 제트 인쇄 헤드로부터 인쇄 매체에 잉크를 토출하여 인쇄를 수행하는 인쇄 제어 방법이며,인쇄 데이터를 입력하는 입력 단계와,상기 입력 단계에서 입력된 인쇄 데이터에 기초하여, 상기 저항치별로 대응되는 히터 저항마다 동시 구동되는 히터 저항의 개수를 카운팅하는 카운트 단계와,상기 카운트 단계에서의 카운팅 결과에 기초하여, 상기 저항치별로 대응되는 히터 저항마다 동시 구동되는 히터 저항에 대해 인가되는 구동 펄스를 결정하는 결정 단계와,상기 결정 단계에서 결정된 구동 펄스를 동시 구동되는 히터 저항에 대해 인가하여 인쇄를 수행하는 제어 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 인쇄 제어 방법.
