Claims (3)
- 적, 녹 청의 화상 신호를 인가 받고, 동시에 기준 전압을 인가 받아 각각 상기 화상 신호에 대응되는 정(+) 극성용 및 부(-) 극성용 데이터 전압을 출력하는 제 1 디코더부 및 제 2 디코더부;게이트 라인의 스캔 방향으로 제어신호를 출력하는 제어부;각 게이트 라인의 수평 방향으로 2도트 전극과 1도트 전극을 구분하여, 상기 제어 신호에 의해 상기 2도트 전극에는 각각 동일한 극성을 갖도록 동일한 디코더부를 선택하고, 상기 1도트 전극에는 상기 2도트 전극과 반전된 극성을 갖도록 나머지 디코더부를 선택하는 스위칭부; 및상기 스위칭부에 의해 출력되는 데이터 전압을 다수의 데이터 라인에 인가하는 버퍼부를 포함하여 이루어짐을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 주사 신호를 전송하는 다수개의 게이트 라인과, 상기 게이트 라인과 교차하여 화상 신호를 전송하는 다수개의 데이터 라인과, 상기 게이트 라인 및 데이터 라인들의 교차부에 형성되는 다수개의 박막 트랜지스터와, 상기 다수개의 박막 트랜지스터 각각에 연결되어 상기 박막 트랜지스터들의 동작에 응답하는 다수개의 도트 전극을 구비한 액정표시장치의 구동방법에 있어서,상기 각 게이트 라인상의 도트전극을 수평 방향으로 차례대로 2 도트 전극과 1 도트 전극으로 구분하여 상기 2 도트 전극에는 동일한 극성의 전압이 충전되며, 상기 1 도트 전극에는 상기 2 도트 전극과 반대의 극성의 전압이 충전되고,이 때 각 상기 게이트 라인의 종 방향으로는 서로 인접한 도트 전극끼리 반전된 극성의 전압이 충전되도록 각각 2도트 전극과, 1도트 전극에 상응하는 데이터 라인에 서로 다른 극성용 데이터 전압을 인가하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치의 구동방법.
