- 균일형 분포의 티타늄을 갖는 촉매의 제조 방법으로서, 하기를 포함하는 방법:물을 함유하고 히드록실 농도를 갖는 성형 실리카 히드로겔 입자를 제조하고;상기 성형 실리카 히드로겔 입자를 건조하여 실질적으로 상기 물을 완전히 제거하고;히드록실기를 갖는, 비교적 낮은 반응성의 티타늄 전구체를 선택하고;직경 약 2mm 내지 약 4mm 의 상기 성형 실리카겔 입자를 티타늄:히드록실의 몰비 약 0.05:1 이상을 달성하는 양의 상기 티타늄 전구체와 접촉시키고 (여기서, 상기 낮은 반응성 및 상기 비는 균일형 분포의 티타늄을 갖는, 티타늄이 함침된 성형 실리카겔 입자를 형성할 수 있게 함);상기 촉매로서 상기 티타늄이 함침된 성형 실리카겔 입자를 회수한다.
- 제 12 항에 있어서, 상기 티타늄 전구체가 티타노센, 티타늄 아세틸아세토네이트, 이소프로필 티타네이트-아세틸아세톤 착체 및 트리에탄올아민 티타네이트로 이루어진 군으로부터 선택되는 방법.
- 달걀 껍질 분포형의 티타늄을 갖는 촉매의 제조 방법으로서, 하기를 포함하는 방법:물을 함유하고 히드록실 농도를 갖는 성형 실리카 히드로겔 입자를 제조하고;상기 성형 실리카 히드로겔 입자를 건조하여 실질적으로 상기 물을 완전히 제거하고;히드록실기를 갖는, 비교적 높은 반응성의 티타늄 전구체를 선택하고;직경 약 2mm 내지 약 4mm 의 상기 성형 실리카겔 입자를 티타늄:히드록실의 몰비 약 0.03:1 내지 약 0.2:1 을 달성하는 양의 상기 티타늄 전구체와 접촉시키고 (여기서, 상기 비 및 상기 높은 반응성은 달걀 껍질형 분포의 티타늄을 갖는, 티타늄이 함침된 성형 실리카겔 입자를 형성할 수 있게 함),상기 촉매로서 상기 티타늄이 함침된 성형 실리카겔 입자를 회수한다.

- 제 20 항에 있어서, 건조 및 하소 단계가 하기를 포함하는 방법:상기 성형 실리카 히드로겔 입자를 제1 온도까지 가열하여, 상기 건조를 달성하고;일정한 시간 동안 상기 제1 온도에서 상기 성형 실리카 히드로겔 입자를 유지하고;상기 성형 실리카 히드로겔 입자를 제2 온도까지 가열하여 상기 하소를 달성한다.
- 제 14 항에 있어서, 상기 성형 실리카 히드로겔 입자의 건조 후, 히드록실 농도를 감소시키기에 충분한 시간 동안 및 온도에서 상기의 성형 실리카겔 입자를 하소시키는 단계를 추가로 포함하는 방법.
