Claims (14)
- 전체적으로 슬리브형 바디로 이루어지며 엘라스토머 재료를 포함하는 엘라스토머 화합물로 형성되는 타입의, 유연성 샤프트 커플링 장치용 유연성 요소로서, 상기 슬리브형 바디는 각 커플링 수용부를 형성하는 2개의 대향 슬리브 단부 부분, 상기 커플링 수용부 사이의 환형부, 내주부 및 외주부를 포함하고, 상기 커플링 수용부는 상기 내주부의 적어도 일부를 따라 배치되는 복수 개의 축방향으로 연장된 치형부를 각각 포함하며, 상기 각 커플링 수용부의 각 치형부는 상기 내주부의 일부에 해당하는 원주 방향 폭을 갖는, 유연성 샤프트 커플링 장치용 유연성 요소에 있어서,상기 엘라스토머 화합물은 섬유를 함유하고,상기 환형부는 소정의 비틀림 전단 용량을 가지며,각각의 상기 커플링 수용부의 각 치형부는 상기 각 원주 방향 폭과 함께 치형부 전단 영역을 규정하는 축방향 작용 길이를 가지고, 상기 치형부 전단 영역의 합은 누적 치형부 전단 영역(cumulative tooth shear area)을 규정하며, 상기 누적 치형부 전단 영역은 소정의 누적 치형부 전단 용량을 가지고,상기 누적 치형부 전단 용량은 상기 환형부 비틀림 전단 용량을 초과하는 것을 특징으로 하는 유연성 샤프트 커플링 장치용 유연성 요소.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 치형부 중 적어도 하나는 곡선형 단면 윤곽을 갖는 것인 유연성 샤프트 커플링 장치용 유연성 요소
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 치형부는 복수 개의 홈과 교대로 배치되며, 상기 각각의 홈은 상기 슬리브형 바디 내주부의 원주 방향 일부에 해당하는 폭을 가지며, 상기 홈 폭의 합 대 상기 치형부 폭의 합의 비는 0.65:1 미만인 것인 유연성 샤프트 커플링 장치용 유연성 요소.
- 제3항에 있어서, 상기 홈 폭의 합 대 상기 치형부 폭의 합의 비는 0.50:1 내지 0.10:1인 것인 유연성 샤프트 커플링 장치용 유연성 요소.
- 제3항에 있어서, 상기 홈 폭의 합 대 상기 치형부 폭의 합의 비는 0.45:1 내지 0.15:1인 것인 유연성 샤프트 커플링 장치용 유연성 요소.

- 유연성 샤프트 커플링 장치용 유연성 요소를 형성하는 방법으로서,a) 내주부를 가지며 이 내주부의 적어도 일부를 따라 축방향으로 연장된 치형부와 랜드부를 교대로 배치하고, 이들 치형부와 랜드부가 곡선형 단면 윤곽을 갖는 몰드를 선택하는 단계와,b) 상기 몰드 내에 직물 슬리브를 배치하는 단계와,c) 가황 처리되지 않은 섬유 함유 엘라스토머 재료를 상기 직물의 외부 표면에 부착하는 단계와,d) 상기 몰드를 블래더(bladder) 내에 배치하는 단계와,e) 상기 블래더에 대해 열과 압력을 가하여, 상기 직물을 지지하는 인장 코드를 통해 상기 몰드 치형부 안으로 엘라스토머를 가압하는 단계와,f) 상기 엘라스토머를 가황 처리하여 유연성 커플링 요소를 형성하는 단계와,g) 상기 유연성 커플링 요소를 냉각시키는 단계와,h) 상기 유연성 커플링 요소를 상기 몰드로부터 취출하는 단계를 포함하는 유연성 샤프트 커플링 장치용 유연성 요소 형성 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 섬유는,a) 아라미드 섬유와,b) 폴리에스테르 섬유와,c) 폴리아미드 섬유와,d) 셀룰로오스 섬유와,e) 탄소 섬유와,f) 아크릴 섬유와,g) 폴리우레탄 섬유와,h) 면 섬유와,i) 유리 섬유와,j) 이들 중 2개 이상의 임의의 조합으로부터 선택된 타입인 것인 유연성 샤프트 커플링 장치용 유연성 요소.
