Abstract

PURPOSE: Installing/removing structure of a spindle cap is provided to prevent a penetration of foreign substance by reducing a separation of the spindle cap and to improve the maintenance and the replacing workability of the spindle cap by installing and removing the spindle cap. CONSTITUTION: A fixing pin(32) is protruded outside a hub installing face(23) before assembling a spindle cap(20) in a hub(16). In forcibly inserting the spindle cap(20) in a cap inserting hole(16b), the fixing pin(32) is located and inserted in a pin hole(16a) through the cap inserting hole(16b) by pressing a coil spring(30). The spindle cap(20) and the hub(16) are fixed. A seal for preventing a penetration of foreign substances(50) is stuck to the cap inserting hole(16b) to prevent the foreign substances from penetrating into a bearing(14) through the spindle cap(20). In removing the spindle cap(20), a fixing pin locking releasing lever(40) is pushed. The return spring(42) is compressed and the fixing pin(32) is inserted into a pin hole(21).
