Abstract

본 발명은 폴리에스테르/아세테이트 복합사 직물을 염색함에 있어서, 분자량 380 이상의 분산염료를 사용하여 염색함으로써 폴리에스테르/아세테이트 복합사 직물에 멜란지 효과를 부여하는 염색방법에 관한 것이다.

Description

폴리에스테르/아세테이트 복합사 직물의 염색방법
본 발명은 폴리에스테르/아세테이트 복합사 직물의 염색방법에 관한 것으로서, 특히 폴리에스테르/아세테이트 복합사 직물에 멜란지(melange) 효과를 부여하는 염색방법에 관한 것이다.
종래에는 폴리에스테르/아세테이트 복합사 직물에 멜란지 효과를 부여하기 위하여 분산염료 및 반응성 염료의 2욕법을 사용하여 왔으나, 그 효과가 미흡하고 가공비용이 많이 드는 결점이 있다.
따라서 본 발명은 이러한 종래기술의 문제점을 감안하여 폴리에스테르/아세테이트 복합사 직물에 보다 우수한 멜란지효과를 부여할 수 있는 경제적인 염색방법을 제공하는 것을 과제로 한다.
상기한 과제를 해결하기 위하여 본 발명자들은 다양한 실험을 거듭한 결과 특정 분자량의 염료를 사용하여 특정 온도에서 폴리에스테르/아세테이트 복합사 직물을 염색할 경우 염색된 직물이 우수한 멜란지 효과를 나타낸다는 사실을 알게되어 본 발명을 완성하게 된 것이다.
그러므로 본 발명에 의하면 폴리에스테르/아세테이트 복합사 직물이 멜란지 효과를 갖도록 염색하는 방법에 있어서, 분자량 380 이상의 분산염료를 사용하여 염색하는 것을 특징으로 하는 폴리에스테르/아세테이트 복합사 직물의 염색방법이 제공된다.
이하 본 발명을 보다 상세하게 설명하기로 한다.
본 발명에 의하면 폴리에스테르 섬유의 염착량과 아세테이트 섬유의 염착량이 다르게 되어 서로 다른 색의 멜란지 효과를 내는 폴리에스테르/아세테이트 복합사 직물이 얻어진다.
본 발명에서 폴리에스테르/아세테이트 복합사 직물을 염색하는데 사용되는 염료는 분자량 380 이상의 분산염료인 것을 특징으로 한다. 만일 분산염료의 분자량이 380 보다 적으면 폴리에스테르 섬유와 아세테이트 섬유의 염착량이 동일하여 목적하는 멜란지조의 염색물이 얻어지지 않고 동일 색상의 염색물이 얻어지게 된다.
시판중인 분자량 380 이상의 분산염료의 예로는 일본의 삼정동압(三井東壓)사 제품 미케톤 레드 비엘에스에프(Miketon Red BLSF), 미케톤 블루 5지(Miketon Blue 5G), 시바가이기사 제품 테라실 브릴리안트 예로우 6지(Terasil Brilliant Yellow 6G) 등이 있다.
본 발명에 따라 폴리에스테르/아세테이트 복합사 직물에 멜란지 효과를 갖는 염색을 부여함에 있어서 또한 가지 중요한 인자는 염색온도이며, 이 염색온도는 90~130℃의 범위내가 특히 효과적이다. 이는 이러한 온도범위에서 폴리에스테르와 아세테이트 섬유의 각 염료에 대한 염착량이 달라서 이색의 양호한 멜란지 효과를 얻을 수 있기 때문이다. 만일 염색시 온도가 90℃ 미만이면 폴리에스테르 섬유가 염색이 안되어 화이트 톤(White tone)으로 염색이 되며, 130℃를 초과하면 폴리에스테르 섬유와 아세테이트 섬유의 염착량이 거의 비슷해 멜란지 효과를 얻기 어렵다.
이하, 본 발명을 실시예에 의하여 보다 구체적으로 설명하면 다음과 같다. 단, 본 발명이 실시예에 국한되는 것은 아니다.
[실시예 1~3]
모노필리멘트의 섬도가 1데니어, 총섬도가 75데니어인 폴리에스테르 섬유와 모노필라멘트의 섬도가 3데니어, 총섬도가 75데니어인 아세테이트 섬유를 복합하여 각각 경,위사로 평직으로 제직한 후 건조하고 열처리하였다.
이와 같이 제조된 폴리에스테르/아세테이트 복합사 직물을 다음 표 1의 염료로 120℃에서 30분간 염색한 후 건조하고 열처리하였다.
[비교예]
실시예에서 사용한 폴리에스테르/아세테이트 복합사 직물을 사용하여 다음 표 2의 염료로 실시예와 동일하게 염색한 후 건조하고 열처리하였다.
상기 실시예 및 비교예에서 제조된 직물의 톤(tone) 효과는 다음 표 3과 같다.
상기 표 3의 결과로부터 알 수 있는 바와 같이, 본 발명에 따르는 분산염료를 사용하여 본 발명에 따르는 온도범위에서 염색한 실시예 1 내지 3의 경우에는 폴리에스테르/아세테이트 복합사 직물이 멜란지톤으로 염색되는 반면에서, 본 발명에서 벗어난 비교예 1 내지 3의 경우에는 단색톤으로 염색된다.

  1. 폴리에스테르/아세테이트 복합사 직물을 염색함에 있어서, 분자량 380 이상의 분산염료를 사용하여 90~130℃의 온도에서 염색하는 것을 특징으로 하는 폴리에스테르/아세테이트 복합사 직물의 염색방법.
