Description

Automotive wax composition having antirust and cold resistance

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention relates to a wax composition having antirust and cold resistance, and more particularly, to a wax composition having antirust and cold resistance including a diluent, a cold resistant additive, a rust inhibitor, a filler, and the like in petrolactum.

Conventional rust preventive wax was prepared by adding an inorganic filler and a naphtha solvent to asphalt (asphalt). When such antirust wax is applied to the floor of an automobile, the diluent evaporates and the coating film dries into a hard state. When a vehicle, such as a tire scattered by the tire, hits the hardened coating film, the coating film is broken, and corrosion products penetrate between the gaps, causing the floor surface of the vehicle to corrode. In addition, in winter, the adhesive force of the wax coating is weakened, which causes a problem that the coating is detached.

In order to solve the above problems, the inventors of the present invention have completed the present invention by developing a wax composition comprising a mineral oil that is undry at low temperatures as a main component and a cold-resistant additive, a rust inhibitor and a filler.

It is an object of the present invention to provide a wax composition having antirust and cold resistance.

In order to achieve the above object, the present invention provides a wax composition comprising a film performance improving agent, a diluent, a cold-resistant additive, a rust preventive agent, asphalt, and an inorganic filler in the main oil.

Hereinafter, the present invention will be described in detail.

In the composition of the present invention, a mineral oil having excellent low-temperature characteristics is used as a main component, and it is preferable to use a mineral oil having a molecular weight of 500 to 1500 to 25 to 35% by weight.

In order to improve the film | membrane performance of the mineral oil which is a main component, mineral oil resin is used for the composition of this invention, It is preferable to use 3-8 weight% of mineral oil resin whose softening point is 100 degrees C or less.

In order to facilitate workability when applying the wax composition of the present invention, it is preferable to use 30 to 45% by weight of a naphtha solvent as a diluent.

In order to prevent the wax composition of the present invention from being easily broken by external impact when cured at low temperature, a synthetic silicone oil is used as a cold-resistant additive, and it is preferable to use 2 to 5% by weight of a synthetic silicone oil having a pour point of -50 ° C or lower. Do.

In order to add a rust preventive agent to the composition of the present invention, it is preferable to use 0.5 to 2.0% by weight of a BSN capable of maintaining rust prevention performance for a long time.

When the composition of the present invention is applied, it is preferable to add 5 to 10% by weight of asphalt in order to prevent contamination of the original color of the wax due to moisture or dust, and to improve coating performance.

Moreover, although an inorganic filler is added as a thickener which adjusts a viscosity with respect to said component, it is preferable to add 5-15 weight% of fillers, such as talc powder or benton powder. At this time, if the amount of the filler is used in less than 5% by weight, the wax composition is too thin, causing a problem of easily flowing when the wax is applied. In addition, if the amount of the filler is 15% by weight or more, the viscosity of the wax composition is so large that the adhesion to the adhered surface is weakened during application, the wax coating film is easily broken and detachment occurs at low temperatures.

Hereinafter, the wax composition of the present invention will be described in detail through examples.
