Hereinafter, preferred embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.
3 is a perspective view showing the main part of the panel inspection method and apparatus according to the present invention. As shown, the light source 30 is located below the space between the conveyor 20 and the conveyor 20 for uniformly conveying the panel 10, and light from the light source is above the panel 10. The CCD camera 40 which captures the light which passed through this is provided. And the lower side of the support 41 for supporting the CCD camera is a laser light emitting unit 60 for shooting a laser beam on the panel 10 is moved at a constant speed, and a light receiving unit 61 for receiving a laser beam reflected from the panel 10 ) Is installed. The light-receiving unit for receiving and emitting the laser beam may rotate the light-receiving unit 61 so that the light-emitting unit scans the surface of the panel perpendicularly to the moving direction of the panel and receives the beam reflected from the surface of the panel. It is.
The CCD camera and the laser system can be added or removed in consideration of the size and resolution of the inspection object, and can move up, down, left, and right. The illumination system is only installed for the CCD camera and the illumination device has no effect on the laser system. Therefore, as shown in FIG. 4, the light and the beam generated by each light source independently detect defective elements in the analog-to-digital converter, and pass the data to the computer. And the conveyor for conveying the panel 10 is connected to the drive unit receiving the signal of the computer, the panel is transported on the conveyor and the sensor 50 for determining the entry of the panel at the entrance to the inspection device is installed, The sensor is connected to the system controls to ensure effective inspection.
5 is a flow chart showing the main flow of the panel inspection method and apparatus according to the present invention. First, as shown in (a), the light passing through the aforementioned panel is received by the camera, and the video signal received by the camera is digitized through an analog-to-digital converter. This digitized data contains optical data components according to the panel thickness, so shading correction is performed to smooth them out. Thresholding is performed to extract defects with the data for calibrating data. Through this thresholding process, the reduced data is regarded as a noise having a certain size or less and noise is removed. Run length coding is then performed for feature extraction and the final feature data is then transferred to the computer. This feature extraction operation is handed over to the computer in the system using a laser and a camera as shown in FIG. 5 (b), and the computer outputs the processed feature in a format capable of performing the desired inspection.
Therefore, by comprehensively executing the internal inspection surface inspection of the panel by using a camera and a laser, it is possible to detect external defects and internal defects of the panel together without degrading the size and performance of the detection device. The number of possible defects can be greatly increased and significant effects can be achieved in terms of reliability of the inspection and improvement of the inspection working environment.
