- 제1항에 있어서, 기질 세포는 섬유아세포를 포함하는 것을 특징으로하는 살아 있는 기질(stromal)조직.
- 제2항에 있어서, 기질 세포는 내피세포, 혈관주위세포, 대식세포, 단일세포, 백혈구, 혈장세포, 비만세포 또는 지방세포와 섬유아세포가 복합된 것을 특징으로 하는 살아 있는 기질(stromal)조직.

- 시험관에서 점막 상피세포를 배양하는 방법에 있어서, (a) 시험관에서 만든 살아 있는 기질 조직위에 점막 상피세포를 접종시키고, 이때 살아있는 기질 조직은 기질세포에 의해 연결된 간질성(interstitial) 공간을 가지는 생체 적응성이 있는 무생물(non-living) 물질로 구성되는 구조물에 부착하여 이를 에워싸는 기질세포와 기질세포에 의해 자연적으로 분비되는 연결 조직 단백질로 구성되고; 그리고 (b) 접종된 살아 있는 기질 조직을 영양 배지에서 배양하여 접종된 세포가 배양물에서 증식되는 단계로 구성된 것을 특징으로 하는 시험관에서 점막 상피세포를 배양하는 방법.
- 시험관에서 종양 조직 세포를 배양하는 방법에 있어서, (a) 시험관에서 만든 살아 있는 기질 조직위에 종양 조직세포를 접종시키고, 이때 살아있는 기질 조직은 기질세포에 의해 연결된 간질성(interstitial) 공간을 가지는 생체 적응성이 있는 무생물(non-living) 물질로 구성되는 구조물에 부착하여 이를 에워싸는 기질세포와 기질세포에 의해 자연적으로 분비되는 연결 조직 단백질로 구성되고; 그리고 (b) 접종된 살아 있는 기질 조직을 영양 배지에서 배양하여 접종된 세포가 배양물에서 증식되는 단계로 구성된 것을 특징으로 하는 시험관에서 종양 조직 세포를 배양하는 방법.

- 유전공학으로 조작된 세포를 배양하는 방법에 있어서, (a) 살아 있는 기질조직에 형질감염(transfected)된 실질(parenchymal)세포를 접종하고 이때, (ⅰ) 형질 감염된 실질세포에는 발현요소의 조절을 받는 상태에서 외래유전자를 포함하고; 그리고 (ⅱ) 시험관내에서 만들어진 살아 있는 기질세포는 기질세포에 의해 연결된 간질성(interstitial) 공간을 가지는 생체 적응성이 있는 무생물(non-living) 물질로 구성되는 구조물에 부착하여 이를 에워싸는 기질세포와 기질세포에 의해 자연적으로 분비되는 연결 조직 단백질로 구성되고; 그리고 (b) 접종된 3차원 기질조직을 영양배지에서 배양시켜 형질 감염된 세포를 배양물에서 증식시키는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 유전공학적으로 조작된 세포의 배양방법.
- 제33항에 있어서, 기질 세포는 섬유아세포를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 유전공학적으로 조작된 세포의 배양방법.
- 제33항에 있어서, 기질 세포는 내피세포, 혈관주위세포, 대식세포, 단일세포, 백혈구, 혈장세포, 비만세포 또는 지방세포와 섬유아세포가 복합된 것을 특징으로 하는 유전공학적으로 조작된 세포의 배양방법.
- 제33항에 있어서, 구조물은 생분해 가능한 물질을 구성된 것을 특징으로 하는 유전공학적으로 조작된 세포의 배양방법.
- 제36항에 있어서, 생분해 가능한 물질은 면, 폴리글리콜산, 고양이 장 봉합사, 셀룰로오스, 겔라틴 또는 덱스트란에서 선택되는 것을 특징으로 하는 유전공학적으로 조작된 세포의 배양방법.
- 제33항에 있어서, 구조물은 생분해되지 않는 물질로 구성된 것을 특징으로 하는 유전공학적으로 조작된 세포의 배양방법.
- 제38항에 있어서, 생분해되지 않는 물질은 폴리아미드, 폴리에스테르, 폴리스트렌, 폴리프로필렌, 폴리아크릴레이트, 폴리비닐, 폴리카아보네이트, 폴리테트라풀루오로에틸렌 또는 니트로셀룰로오스 화합물에서 선택된 것으로 구성된 것을 특징으로 하는 유전공학적으로 조작된 세포의 배양방법.
- 제36, 37, 38 또는 39항중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 구조물에 콜라겐을 미리 피복시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 유전공학적으로 조작된 세포의 배양방법.
- 제33항에 있어서, 실지세포는 조혈세포를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 유전공학적으로 조작된 세포의 배양방법.
- 제33항에 있어서, 실질세포는 흑혈구와 각질세포를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 유전공학적으로 조작된 세포의 배양방법.
