Claims (12)
- 二次電池と、
電動工具と接続し、前記二次電池の電力を電動工具に供給する出力部と、
前記二次電池と前記出力部とを繋ぐ電流経路を遮断可能な第1遮断手段と、
前記出力部に接続した電動工具の種類を識別する識別部と、を備え、
前記第1遮断手段は、制御部の制御によらず、前記識別部の識別結果に応じて、前記電流経路を遮断するか否かが切り替わる、電源装置。 - 前記識別部は、
前記出力部に接続した電動工具の種類に応じて電圧が変化する電源側通信端子を有し、
前記第1遮断手段は、前記電源側通信端子の電圧に応じて、前記電流経路を遮断するか否かが切り替わる、請求項1に記載の電源装置。 - 前記識別部は、
前記二次電池からの電力供給により定電圧を出力する電源部を有し、
前記電源側通信端子は、前記電源部により電力供給可能であり、前記出力部に接続した電動工具の種類に応じて電圧が変化することを特徴とする、請求項2に記載の電源装置。 - 前記電源側通信端子は、前記電源部と電気的に接続される第1電源側通信端子と、前記第1遮断手段と電気的に接続される第2電源側通信端子と、を備え、
前記第1遮断手段は、前記第2電源側通信端子の電圧に応じて、前記電流経路を遮断するか否かが切り替わることを特徴とする、請求項3に記載の電源装置。 - 前記二次電池と前記出力部とを繋ぐ電流経路を遮断可能な第2遮断手段と、
前記第2遮断手段を制御する制御部と、を備え、
前記制御部は、前記識別部の識別結果に応じて、前記第2遮断手段に前記電流経路を遮断させるか否かを切り替える、請求項1から4のいずれか一項に記載の電源装置。 - 前記第1遮断手段は、第1スイッチング素子を含み、
前記第2遮断手段は、第2スイッチング素子を含み、
前記第1及び第2スイッチング素子が、前記電流経路に直列に設けられている、請求項5に記載の電源装置。 - 前記第1スイッチング素子は、前記第2スイッチング素子よりも前記出力部側に設けられる、請求項6に記載の電源装置。
- 前記出力部の電圧を検出する検出部を備え、
前記制御部は、前記第2遮断手段により前記電流経路を遮断させているときに前記検出部により検出した電圧が所定値以上の場合に、前記出力部に接続した電動工具に停止信号を送信する、請求項5から7のいずれか一項に記載の電源装置。 - 前記出力部は、互いに定格入力電圧の異なる複数の電動工具の電池パック装着部に択一的に接続可能であり、
前記第1遮断手段は、制御部の制御によらず、前記出力部に接続した電動工具の定格入力電圧に応じて、前記電流経路を遮断するか否かが切り替わる、請求項1から8のいずれか一項に記載の電源装置。 - 前記出力部は、第1定格電圧の電動工具と、前記第1定格電圧よりも低い第2定格電圧の電動工具と、に択一的に接続可能であり、
前記第1遮断手段は、前記出力部に接続した電動工具の定格電圧が前記第1定格電圧のときには前記電流経路を遮断せず、前記定格電圧が前記第2定格電圧のときには前記電流経路を遮断する、請求項9に記載の電源装置。 - 前記第1遮断手段は、前記二次電池を収容した本体とは別体かつ前記出力部を有するアダプタに収容される、請求項1から10のいずれか一項に記載の電源装置。
- 請求項4に記載の電源装置と、電動工具と、を備え、前記電動工具は、
前記電源装置の前記出力部と接続する入力部と、
前記入力部に供給された電力により駆動する駆動源と、
前記電源装置の前記第1の電源側通信端子に接続する第1の工具側通信端子と、
前記電源装置の前記第2の電源側通信端子に接続する第2の工具側通信端子と、を備え、
前記第1の工具側通信端子と、前記第2の工具側通信端子とは互いに電気的に短絡されていることを特徴とする、電源装置と電動工具からなるシステム。
