Abstract
Description
図1、2を参照すると、工具の姿勢を制御する2つの回転送り軸と、工具に対してワークの位置を相対的に移動する3つの直線送り軸とを有した工作機械の一例が示されている。工作機械10は、工場の床面に固定された基台としてのベッド12、ベッド12の後端側(図1では右側)で同ベッド12の上面に立設、固定されたコラム14、ベッド12の前方部分(図1では左側)の上面で前後方向またはY軸方向(図1では左右方向)に移動可能に設けられワークWが固定されるテーブル26、テーブル26の上方に設けられ主軸24を回転可能に支持する主軸頭22、コラム14の頂部で左右方向またはX軸方向(図1では紙面に垂直な方向)に移動可能に設けられたサドル16、サドル16に設けられ主軸頭22を回転軸線Oaを中心として回転可能に支持する主軸頭支持部60を具備している。主軸頭支持部60は、サドル16の前面で上下方向またはZ軸方向に移動可能に取り付けられたZ軸スライダ18と、Z軸スライダ18に第2の回転軸線としての傾斜軸線Ocを中心としてC軸方向に回転可能に支持されたC軸旋回軸20とを具備している。

Claims (4)
- 工具の姿勢を制御する2つの回転送り軸と、工具に対してワークの位置を相対的に移動する直線送り軸とを有した工作機械において、
先端部に工具を装着する主軸と、
前記主軸を主軸回転軸線周りに回転可能に支持する主軸頭と、
前記主軸頭を前記主軸回転軸線に対して垂直に延びる第1の軸線周りに回転可能に支持する主軸頭支持部と、
前記主軸頭支持部に設けられ、前記主軸頭を前記第1の軸線周りに回転送りする第1の回転送り軸装置と、
前記主軸頭支持部を前記第1の軸線に対して垂直、かつ、鉛直方向に対して所定の傾斜角で交差する第2の軸線周りに回転可能に支持するサドルと、
前記サドルに設けられ、前記主軸頭支持部を前記第2の回転軸線周りに回転送りする第2の回転送り軸装置と、
前記主軸回転軸線が前記第2の軸線に平行または一致しないように、前記第1の回転送り軸装置の回転送り範囲を制限する制限手段と、
を具備することを特徴とした工作機械。 - 前記制限手段は、前記主軸の回転軸線が鉛直方向に対して形成する角度が、鉛直方向に対する前記主軸回転軸線の中心軸線の傾斜角よりも小さくなるように、前記第1の回転送り軸装置の回転送り範囲の上限を規定する請求項1に記載の工作機械。
- 前記主軸頭支持部は、前記サドルの前面に鉛直方向に往復動可能に取り付けられたZ軸スライダに前記第2の軸線周りに回転可能に支持されたC軸回転送り軸に形成された左右一対の腕部を有し、
前記制限手段は、前記主軸頭に当接可能に前記C軸回転送り軸に形成された停止部を有している請求項1に記載の工作機械。 - 前記主軸頭支持部は、前記サドルの前面に鉛直方向に往復動可能に取り付けられたZ軸スライダに前記第2の軸線周りに回転可能に支持されたC軸回転送り軸に形成された左右一対の腕部を有し、
前記制限手段は、前記C軸回転送り軸に配設されたリミットスイッチを有している請求項1に記載の工作機械。
