Abstract
Description
以下、添付図面を参照しながら本発明の実施形態について説明する。なお、以下の説明において、ある変速機構の「変速比」は、当該変速機構の入力回転速度を当該変速機構の出力回転速度で割って得られる値である。また、「最Low変速比」は当該変速機構の最大変速比を意味し、「最High変速比」は当該変速機構の最小変速比を意味する。図1は本発明の実施例1に係る無段変速機を搭載した車両の概略構成図である。この車両は動力源としてエンジン1を備える。エンジン1の出力回転は、ロックアップクラッチ付きトルクコンバータ2、第1ギヤ列3、バリエータ20、副変速機30(以下、バリエータ20と副変速機30を合わせて、単に「変速機4」という。)、第2ギヤ列5、終減速装置6を介して駆動輪7へと伝達される。第2ギヤ列5には駐車時に変速機4の出力軸を機械的に回転不能にロックするパーキング機構8が設けられている。
副変速機30を1速から2速に変更するときは、Lowブレーキ32を解放し、Highクラッチ33を締結するいわゆる架け替え制御が実施される。具体的には、Lowブレーキ32の締結容量を、完全締結容量から、現在のエンジントルクを伝達可能なギリギリの容量まで低下させる。そして、Highクラッチ33の締結容量を徐々に上昇させつつ、Lowブレーキ32の締結容量を徐々に低下させる。これにより、変速比を1速から2速へと徐々に変更するイナーシャフェーズを行う。このとき、イナーシャフェーズにおいて、エンジン回転数を引き下げる必要があるが、エンジン1から入力されるトルクが大きすぎると、変速を進行させることが難しい。また、Lowブレーキ32の締結容量をギリギリに低下させた際、エンジン回転数が吹き上がるおそれもある。そこで、エンジンコントローラ1aにトルクダウン要求値を出力し、イナーシャフェーズを促す。
(1)エンジン1と駆動輪7との間に配置され、変速比を無段階に変化させることができるバリエータ20の制御装置または制御方法であって、エンジン1に対してトルクダウン要求中に、バリエータ20でダウンシフトするときの変速速度は、非トルクダウン要求中にバリエータ20でダウンシフトするときの変速速度よりも遅い。
よって、エンジントルクがイナーシャトルクよりも小さくなる状況を回避することができ、加速度の低下を抑制できる。
(2)バリエータ20に対して直列に設けられ、前進用変速段として1速と2速を有する副変速機30を備えた。すなわち、アップシフトする際、トルクダウン要求が出力される。このとき、チェンジマインド等によってアップシフトを中止すると共にバリエータ20がダウンシフトする場面が生じたとしても、加速度の低下を抑制できる。
Claims (3)
- エンジンと駆動輪との間に配置され、変速比を無段階に変化させることができる無段変速機の制御装置であって、
前記エンジンに対してトルクダウン要求中に、前記無段変速機でダウンシフトするときの変速速度は、非トルクダウン要求中に前記無段変速機でダウンシフトするときの変速速度よりも遅い無段変速機の制御装置。 - 請求項1に記載の無段変速機の制御装置において、
前記無段変速機に対して直列に設けられ、前進用変速段として第1変速段と該第1変速段よりも変速比の小さな第2変速段とを有する副変速機を備えた無段変速機の制御装置。 - エンジンと駆動輪との間に配置され、変速比を無段階に変化させることができる無段変速機の制御方法であって、
前記エンジンに対してトルクダウン要求中に、前記無段変速機でダウンシフトするときの変速速度は、非トルクダウン要求中に前記無段変速機でダウンシフトするときの変速速度よりも遅くする無段変速機の制御方法。
