Abstract
Description
互いに相対摺動する摺動面を有する一対の摺動部品であって、
前記摺動面の高圧流体側の周面において所定の周方向間隔で開口部を有するとともに径方向に延びる流体導入部と、
前記流体導入部に連通し周方向に延びるレイリーステップ機構を構成する極浅溝と、を備え、
前記流体導入部の前記開口部の周方向幅は、前記流体導入部の径方向幅より大きいことを特徴としている。
この特徴によれば、流体導入部の開口部の周方向幅は流体導入部の径方向幅より大きく形成されることで、摺動面Sの面積が減少するので摺動損失を低減することができるとともに、開口部から流体導入部内を通り摺動面に至る流路のボトルネックが解消され被密封流体の流動抵抗が低減するので、摺動面を効率よく冷却することができる。
前記流体導入部の前記開口部の前記周方向幅と前記周方向間隔との比が0.2から0.9であることを特徴としている。
この特徴によれば、摺動面における流体導入部の開口面積を大きくすることができ、摺動面と流体導入部内の流体とが直接接触する面積を増加させることができ、効率よく冷却できる。
前記摺動面の摺動半径における周速が10m/s以上であることを特徴としている。
この特徴によれば、温度上昇の影響が大きくなる10m/s以上の摺動部品を確実に冷却することができる。
前記流体導入部の低圧流体側には、前記流体導入部同士を連通する連通溝を備えることを特徴としている。
この特徴によれば、極浅溝から低圧流体側へ流れる高圧流体の圧力を連通溝によって開放して、極浅溝から低圧流体側の摺動面へ向かう漏れを低減することができる。

この特徴によれば、ポンピング部によって、低圧流体側から高圧流体側へ流体が押し戻されるので、漏れを低減することができる。

Claims (5)
- 互いに相対摺動する摺動面を有する一対の摺動部品であって、
前記摺動面の高圧流体側の周面において所定の周方向間隔で開口部を有するとともに径方向に延びる流体導入部と、
前記流体導入部に連通し周方向に延びるレイリーステップ機構を構成する極浅溝と、を備え、
前記流体導入部の前記開口部の周方向幅は、前記流体導入部の径方向幅より大きいことを特徴とする摺動部品。 - 前記流体導入部の前記開口部の前記周方向幅と前記周方向間隔との比が0.2から0.9であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の摺動部品。
- 前記摺動面の摺動半径における周速が10m/s以上であることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の摺動部品。
- 前記流体導入部の低圧流体側には、前記流体導入部同士を連通する連通溝を備えることを特徴とする請求項1から3のいずれかに記載の摺動部品。
- 前記連通溝の低圧流体側の前記摺動面にポンピング部を備えることを特徴とする請求項4のいずれかに記載の摺動部品。
