Abstract
Description
図1は、本発明の実施の形態1に係る無線通信装置の構成を示すブロック図である。なお、この無線通信装置は、ナビゲーション装置に備えられてもよいが、これに限ったものではない。
以上のような本実施の形態1に係る無線通信装置1によれば、段階的に切り替えられる送信信号の強度レベルと、携帯端末51から無線通信部11に無線で送信される応答信号の有無とに基づいて、携帯端末51の位置を判定する。このような構成によれば、電波の反射や人物の搭乗により変動しやすい受信信号強度を用いて携帯端末の位置を判定しないので、受信信号強度を安定させるための様々な回路を必要としない。このため、受信信号強度を用いて携帯端末の位置を判定する装置よりも構成を簡素化することができる。
図3は、本発明の実施の形態2に係る無線通信装置の構成を示すブロック図である。以下、本実施の形態2で説明する構成要素のうち、実施の形態1と同じまたは類似する構成要素については同じ参照符号を付し、異なる構成要素について主に説明する。
以上のような本実施の形態2に係る無線通信装置1によれば、携帯端末51が、自車両の前席、後席または自車両の外部に位置すると判定する。これにより、自車両における携帯端末51の位置に対して適切な通信制御及び通知制御などを行うことができる。なお、情報管理部12bの判定結果は、自車両の前席、後席または自車両の外部の位置に限ったものではない。例えば、無線通信部のアンテナ11aを助手席側よりも運転席側に偏在させれば、情報管理部12bは、携帯端末51の位置を、自車両の前席の位置と判定する代わりに、自車両の運転席の位置と判定したり、自車両の助手席の位置と判定したりすることが可能である。
上述した無線通信装置1における制御部12は、図9に示す処理回路81により実現される。すなわち、処理回路81は、無線通信部11が無線で送信する送信信号の強度レベルを段階的に切り替え、強度レベルと、送信信号を受信した携帯端末51から無線通信部11に無線で送信される応答信号の有無とに基づいて、携帯端末51の位置を判定する制御部12を備える。処理回路81には、専用のハードウェアが適用されてもよいし、メモリに格納されるプログラムを実行するプロセッサが適用されてもよい。プロセッサには、例えば、中央処理装置、処理装置、演算装置、マイクロプロセッサ、マイクロコンピュータ、Digital Signal Processorなどが該当する。
Claims (7)
- 車両に搭載された無線通信部と、
前記無線通信部が無線で送信する送信信号の強度レベルを段階的に切り替え、前記強度レベルと、前記送信信号を受信した通信端末から前記無線通信部に無線で送信される応答信号の有無とに基づいて、前記通信端末の位置を判定する制御部と
を備える、無線通信装置。 - 請求項1に記載の無線通信装置であって、
前記無線通信部は、第1無線通信、及び、前記第1無線通信よりも消費電力が低い第2無線通信で前記通信端末と通信可能であり、
前記制御部は、
前記無線通信部に前記第2無線通信で前記送信信号を送信させ、前記第1無線通信及び前記第2無線通信のうち前記通信端末の位置の判定結果に基づいて選択された一の無線通信で、前記無線通信部と前記通信端末とを接続する、無線通信装置。 - 請求項2に記載の無線通信装置であって、
前記制御部は、
前記強度レベルと前記応答信号の有無とに基づいて、前記通信端末が、前記車両の前席、後席または外部に位置すると判定する、無線通信装置。 - 請求項3に記載の無線通信装置であって、
前記通信端末が前記車両の前席に位置すると判定された場合に、前記第1無線通信が前記一の無線通信として自動的に選択される、無線通信装置。 - 請求項3に記載の無線通信装置であって、
前記通信端末が前記車両の後席に位置すると判定された場合に、取得部に対する操作で指定された前記第1無線通信または前記第2無線通信が前記一の無線通信として選択される、無線通信装置。 - 請求項3に記載の無線通信装置であって、
前記制御部は、
前記通信端末が前記車両の外部に位置すると判定された場合に、前記車両に搭載された通知部に前記車両の外部へ通知させる、無線通信装置。 - 車両に搭載された無線通信部によって無線で送信される送信信号の強度レベルを段階的に切り替え、前記強度レベルと、前記送信信号を受信した通信端末から前記無線通信部に無線で送信される応答信号の有無とに基づいて、前記通信端末の位置を判定する、無線通信方法。
