Claims (8)
- 光源が実装された長尺状の一対の光源基板と、
可撓性を有し、各光源基板の端部同士を連結する連結基板と
を備え、
前記連結基板は、
該連結基板を交差する各方向に沿って折り曲げた折曲部を有することを特徴とする光源装置。 - 前記連結基板は、
折り曲げ前の状態で、各光源基板の短手側縁部それぞれに連結すべく突出した各突出部及び該各突出部を連接する連接部を有し、
前記折曲部は、
一方の突出部を前記光源基板の短手方向に沿って折り曲げた第1折曲部と、
前記連接部を前記光源基板の長手方向に沿って折り曲げた第2折曲部と
を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の光源装置。 - 前記各突出部の前記長手方向の長さが異なることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の光源装置。
- 前記連結基板は、
折り曲げ前の状態で一方の光源基板の短手側縁部に連結すべく突出した突出部及び該突出部と他方の光源基板の長手側縁部の短手側とを連接する連接部を有し、
前記折曲部は、
前記突出部を前記光源基板の短手方向に沿って折り曲げた第1折曲部と、
前記連接部を前記光源基板の長手方向に沿って折り曲げた第2折曲部と
を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の光源装置。 - 前記連結基板は、
折り曲げ前の状態で各光源基板の長手側縁部同士が対向するように各光源基板を連結してあることを特徴とする請求項1から請求項4までのいずれか1項に記載の光源装置。 - 請求項1から請求項5までのいずれか1項に記載の光源装置と、該光源装置が出射する光を透過させる表示パネルとを備えることを特徴とする表示装置。
- 基板上に長尺状の複数の光源基板を各光源基板の長手側縁部同士が対向するように形成するステップと、
前記光源基板に光源を実装するステップと、
前記基板上に形成された隣り合う各光源基板の端部同士を、可撓性を有し、交差する各方向に沿って折り曲げ可能な連結基板で連結するステップと、
各光源基板を前記基板から分割するステップと
を含むことを特徴とする基板ユニットの製造方法。 - 光源が実装された長尺状の一対の光源基板の長手側縁部同士が対向するように、各光源基板の端部同士を、可撓性を有する連結基板で連結した基板ユニットを用いる光源装置の製造方法であって、
前記連結基板を、前記光源基板の短手方向又は長手方向の一方に沿って折り曲げるステップと、
該ステップで折り曲げた前記連結基板を、前記光源基板の短手方向又は長手方向の他方に沿って折り曲げるステップと、
該ステップで折り曲げた前記連結基板及び該連結基板で連結された光源基板を、所定の固定板に固定するステップと
を含むことを特徴とする光源装置の製造方法。
